That’s correct Annie but I still want someone other than us 3 to post since the last x posts have been us. And just because I’ve disappeared for a couple days doesn’t mean I’m not alive. I’m on vacation with my husband and will be gone a bit for the next few days. I’ll be around but I won’t be posting unless someone else does.

I think it’s Inferis turn on her RP anyway.

You have to understand, that before your arrival, the forum had long been in decline. Even the RPs that were 'active' were done by the same small group of roleplayers, and even among them, 1 would drop off or multiple people wouldn't be too active.
Then you, YOU , came along.
A new RP.
A new rush of activity.
Other new faces came onto the sub-forum along with it.
There is a certain psychology that you need to understand that for once ... a group of people that remember how things were "back in the day" ... for one brief shining moment ... it's BACK .

Some people, like Annie, are into this. Very. Very strongly.
So it is understandable that they would be ... anxious ... that activity continues.
They don't want a return to how things have been recently.
So when there is a lull ... there is a fear that people are being complacent ... or worse ... losing interest again ...

I do understand that. I sat around on this forum for 2 weeks before I created my own RP watching how no one was around. I am an original RS player. I started less than 3 yrs after the game came out. I used to RP on these forums and I remember it was so busy it was hard to keep up with. It was heart breaking to come back to this flurry of INactivity.

Out of honestly very little hope I decided to create KOA. It started off small and then look at it now. I am so thankful for everyone who decided to join. Then I read Inferi’s Roads and decided to join that one. Both are now going strong again.

However, I am realistic. People have lives. They can’t sit around on their phones/computers all day. Last week was spring break (if anyone here is young enough and in school) they were probably on vacation. This week (and next) I am on my anniversary vacation with my husband.

I understand Annie’s desire for this forum to stay active. I don’t want it to dwindle either. But I do understand that if you pressure someone into RPing or you keep posting so much without them that that in itself can cause people to loose interest (it would me). So I am just letting go a little to let people live their lives and trust they would come back.

My main account, Azigarath, was over ten years old. Created him on April 1st when RS2 was released. Had many memories. I am glad my RuneScape gaming is over.

But ya, activity was short-term but full of steam when it was around!

Ha, writing that scene for Two-two was fun. Drunk girls are priceless.
Waiting for others to post!
