Hm, well then, gotta wait and hope for the best.
I'll be leaving soon, as I have an appointment at 3PM at WorkBC to see if they can help pay for my Class 1. Lomak also helps pay for ppl's courses, so I might pay them another visit.
After some reflection, I think I discovered something that makes ppl want to RP. When I RPed as a villainous character who would inevitably lose, posting rates were quite high in KoA. It may suggest that certain users, when assigned to certain tasks, create a much more dynamic roleplay. This got me thinking, and I think I found a new idea for a RP, but also one inspired by George's high school RP that we couldn't finish. I also noticed that some users seem to struggle creating, but find it easier to add to an existing medium (oppositely, creating is easy for me, but I find difficulty adding to other users' characters).
So, I was thinking of an RP of which users can be assigned certain ‘powers’ in the RP. I was thinking of an RP similar to George’s: high schoolers who must survive a killer, somehow spawned by a nightmarish entity that adjusts reality.
Here, users RP as students or a killer, but with a twist: death is not an escape. If you are sacrificed by the killer, you exchange places.
Victims RP in third person present tense, whereas killers RP in first person present tense. This would add style to the RP, as we get into the head of killers.
HOWEVER, I have enough Imgur images to instead create a similar RP but with more action/adventure in a dieselpunk (Lovecraftian themes), steampunk (like Bloodborne), or clockpunk (Dark Souls-like), of which ‘killers’ are instead monsters.
Such RPs would be simpler and easier to write out, as I'd also implement a more professional style that would limit a style that is superfluous or self-indulgent. This way, users would only have to write out a few paragraphs rather than two or three whole posts.
Of course, I'd rather focus on KoA, but I wanted to share my new ideas.
