For the sake of keeping characters connected in the roleplay, I just didn't know what else to do. I don't like it when characters separate, don't care about one another, or there's no impetus to keep the story going.
It's a common saying here that we have 30 seconds to make a first impression, which is something I've considered behind the scenes. From Elyssia's viewpoint, I imagine she would find Elisabeth and Annie would be easier to talk to, while the other characters might be a tad more intimidating.
Likewise, I imagine other characters would have (and have shown) their own impressions of Elyssia turning up out of the blue.
To me, this doesn't really seem all that apathetic.

You know, this makes me wonder. How much f**ked up s**t has Issac seen to walk into a cellar and immediately blame all the deaths on a 13 year old girl?

I mean...Isaac's opinion seems perfectly reasonable. Disregarding everything else, she's standing in the center of a room with a bunch of dead guys, all killed by swords, with eight bloody swords by her feet.
Even if he's wrong, it's still a convincing situation.
Done in by the dubious doings of destiny.
