I'm wondering if it's worth going for an art hunt. I mean, character description doesn't matter... right? :P For the most part, yeah, it's worth it. Most pictures are not relevant or worthwhile to use, but you can use multiple images to showcase equipment, as I did.

As a reminder, my RP Wild, Wild, West does have many pictures from varying styles of fiction, so users are free to jump in and take a look. They range from fantasy to modern, Fallout to fantasy, so there may be useful pics to use. The character images from Christopher and Mortimer were taken from my old RP.

...and I might as well bump that RP, duh. It currently remains as a lore thread.

Sure, Azi, those look fine.

I feel like I need to say again, since I did at the start of the previous thread but it's been a while since then, that, because this world is based on a JRPG, the combat is going to probably have a bit of shenanigans like deflecting bullets with swords and whatnot. Just wanted to say. Done in by the dubious doings of destiny.

OK Inferi, np, so a bit like Mortal Kombat or Metal Gear, that's fine. I was thinking of something like that in my remade Coliseum RP, but it didn't quite work out. I agree that breaks from realism are necessary once in a while, or be part of an entire RP's context, why not? Just waiting for others to get their bios in before introing, I suppose.

EDIT: Thanks for the help, Azi. Your thread reminded me of my favourite armour in fallout nv - Joshua Graham's armour, though I have to question the effectiveness of a ballistic vest in a setting that borders on magic.

I mean, if guns worked on crystallis tech, wouldn't it stand to reason that they would look different so as to better carry out their function? I mean, you'd think every gun would be a magazine fed revolver - magazines for bullets, revolver for different power settings or elemental affinities.
