Hunh, apparently, on March 26, a real-life End of the World almost occurred. The Hubble telescope spotted a meteor that would have caused damage comparable to the one that wiped out the dinosaurs. Obviously, it had not hit Earth, so yay! Too bad I missed it, tho. Kinda funny, that most meteors that are big enough to wipe out all life on Earth remain unnoticed.
Since such a disaster cannot be survived, due to dust staying in the atmosphere for up to several thousand years or more, I'd just enjoy my dusty life as much as possible. When I ran out of resources, or reach the point of no return, I'd just cut my veins open and try to sleep, and just bleed to death thinking about the best moments of my life, appreciating the inventions and art of humanity, and gently join the silence of extinction.
