Y'know, maybe you're right Azi. Well, not in that way, but in that I should probably look for different inspiration - perhaps from a simpler time where getting a spray tan and wearing a thong made you basically unrecognisable.

BY THE POWER OF GREYSKULL INDEED.
That being said, I wonder if there's something in this whole "refuge in audacity" buisness. I mean, I'll use Superman as an example - Clark Kent is a total tool, right? Even if he looks like superman, he has different mannerisms for both egos. Close friends or collegues would never make the link - what're the chances, right?
So, perhaps masks aren't all that nessicary for a Superhero to hide their identity - or, at the very least, masks aren't any more effective than a face of makeup, accessorising or a hairstyle change.
... I'm overthinking this, huh?
But, for the most part, I think the superheroes I like best are often the ones who don't wear masks.
EDIT: I went through an Ebay collection of halloween outfits for something one might buy. They have quite the collection of chastity belts, if anyone is interested.

I keep thinking "Maybe I can just join one RP and it won't be so bad, I can still keep up with homework!" And then I remember that I am also currently 300 pages behind in reading for one class, barely caught up on the reading for the other two, have 3 papers due at the end of this week, and a bunch of stuff to be done for the last one. Maybe I can justify joining once I'm on top of this workload, but I doubt it'll happen until the end of this week at the earliest.
np Maddy, real-life and education come first. You can always come back to RPing when the semester's over, too, chances are none of us are going anywhere.
Pff, everyone knows, that girls get too cold to sleep without covers, especially when only wearing their undergarments. so faek
Yeah but this thread will probably be dead by then!
Can confirm. I'm too cold sleeping even in long sleeves, let alone anything less.

Yes. Don't expect me to get terminology or anything right, though, since I know shit about it.
I know some things about sewing and even I don't get terminology right most of the time.
You still have to know what you're doing, even when you're using a machine. Like I said, I don't know much, but my sister likes to make dresses for herself from time to time and it still takes a fair spun to of effort.
EDIT: you've also got plenty to reply to now, Annie.

I dunno, to me sewing never seemed much harder than building IKEA furniture. It's just a matter of getting the tabs in the right place and
nailing
sewing them so they stick together.
That being said, I've never really sewn anything with longevity in mind.
Basic sewing is relatively easy, sure. I can do it myself, and it's not that bad. The more complicated stuff I don't really know that much about, and my observations are what I've seen and heard about it.
