I am intrigued by the new RP but I don't want to make a character and commit myself to it since I'll probably end up locking someone in because of my shitty schedule. :L
I just play FFXIV at this point. DC: Crystal

So the way the anime explains it is vector control. Basically, control/direction of...well, pretty much the flow of everything. There needs to be physical contact if I remember correctly, but the easiest example of it is that everything that tries to hit him has the force redirected back at the person who made it happen in the first place. You shoot him, the bullet hits you. The force in a punch rebounds on the hand that struck. Lightning strikes reflect off, etc etc.

It's just a little bullshit.

Mind you, that's just the default reflection setting. There's plenty more that can be done with it.

I'd say do what you want to, and just let people know if you're going to have problems posting so you could get skipped or something.

That does sound retardedly broken. A power that reflects any and all damage to you onto someone else, presumably the one who inflicted it, leaves a certain invincibility.

While it could work I'd probably suggest something else. Refraction Man might be a bit ridiculous.

Interesting. I'll admit a transformation costume wasn't what I was expecting, since it kind of necessitates the costume to use powers instead of making your own costume to hide yourself when using them.

I'm mostly fine with it since it seems to basically be a straight up 'all around physical improvement' power. My only real gripe is the enhanced intellect, solely because with the addition of that there is very little to train and become better at since your character can immediately be at peak 100% efficiency in heroing business from day 1.

I was more thinking "amateur superheroes work on cleaning up their city and becoming forces to be reckoned with". Unless I misread the application of enhanced intellect.

(Also a minor irritation at being a-okay by turning human then back again. Feels a little... Easy.)

I would like to note that it's not active if the person is otherwise incapacitated, and there's tricks to get around it. Most of them really require specialized stuff, obviously, and I'm perfectly willing to make it an "at will" thing so it's not always active.

I just want to be nearly unstoppable...is that too much to ask?
