I never liked Shakespeare, at all. It's all just boring for me, but oh well, Shakespeare was also a swordsman, so that's pretty cool. Hamlet is remarkable for using a poisoned sword in a duel. The closest to history I got in regards to that, was when a substance that seemed to have been quicklime was put into the hollowed shaft of a poleaxe, and when opened, poured out the quicklime and blinded the other knight.

In defence of the bard; a lot of that boredom probably stems from the fact that he's been ripped off thousands of times over hundreds of years.
