Will still pops in from time to time, and he did join a roleplay not so long ago. I forget who else used to roll with your crew, but I'm sure they aren't that far scattered.
Anyway, what's been going on with your life? Tell us what it's like to escape this hell hole
I haven't spoken to Will in a very long time. If you see him before I do -- which you most certainly will -- please tell him I said hello.
Honestly, I was at my most social here. I've only become more reclusive since leaving. That's neither good nor bad, though. As for life, standard stuff: did the whole university thing, kept myself busy with writing and now I'm onto the "I need money ASAP" phase of my life. How about you?

Well I think he is deployed somewhere at the moment, so I've not caught him in a bit. But I'll be certain to pass along the message if ever I do come across him. I would've thought you'd have him on facebook, you guys always seemed inseparable (or perhaps my memory is simply fading!)
I'm still at university, being slightly younger than the main generation of roleplayers of our time. So I'm doing the whole, "stay in education to avoid needing money ASAP" phase of my life. If there's any RPers you'd like to get in touch with, on here or off, let me know and I'll see if I can track any down. I used to be connected off-site to quite a few people, though the number has dwindled as of late.

Also I totally have a thread you should join [obligatory sell-out]
I have him on Facebook but I don't think he ever uses it. As for the rest, I'm in varying degrees of contact with most of the people I'd like to hear from. It's just that they aren't here, and as each of them left I had one fewer reason to hang around. I tried to leave dramatically a few times, with the emphatic farewells and such, but in the end I just stopped visiting. No idea when that was, but I was certainly a teenager when I last roleplayed here.
Should? Probably. Will? You'd be lucky! I appreciate the invitation, though.

Venom/Lasky if you're reading this, I'm sorry I haven't posted for a while but my laptop got a virus so was playing up badly.
Have you got any suggestions on if/how I could get back into the story?
Well for TLK, all that's happened since the intro is that Lord Byman recruited some peeps for his trip.
We timeskipped to the next morning, where Byman is waiting at the docks by the ship for everyone to arrive. You can be some last-minute arrival or whatever.
You can basically start at Page 10 and see everyone who's at the docks so far. Though you might wanna read some character bios/non-bios as well.
Ramsay Bolton is the king we deserve.

Well, making it 100% sandbox would save you the effort of coming up with a plot. I enjoyed the last sandbox thread of yours that I was on, (Daralt I do believe.) But if you're not wanting to go in that direction, then maybe looking over the setting you've made will help give inspiration? Any geopolitical issues, or old feuds, or religious fever, or anything like that? Maybe by typing out your idea for the world you'll stumble upon something?
I'll start off by saying there are four dimensions. The Overworld, where all the gods live. The Mortal Word, a typical fantasy land where all the mortal races live the thread takes place. The Underworld, a fiery land of suffering where all the demons live. Then the Dead World, where people go when they die to spend their afterlife.
The Mortal World has four kingdoms. One ruled by Dwarves, one by Elves, one by Humans, and one by Drows. Hardly original, I know. Humans are friends with the dwarves while the Elves are friendly with the Drows. These two sides share slightly tense relationships with each other.
Gods, demons, and the dead can be contacted from the Mortal World through rituals, where they grant powers or information. They can also cross in to the Mortal World, but only if they possess a mortal in another ritual.
There used to be a way for them to enter the Mortal World in their true form with no need for possessions or summoning rituals. There are portals scattered across the land, and each one could take you to any of the three other dimensions, but the Gods worked with Death to seal these off to keep the demons and the dead trapped in their respective worlds, locking themselves in their own worlds in the process.
