np Annie, take your time, it's not a race.

Anyways, since I will be busy for most of November for NaNoWriMo, it does make me feel a bit guilty. However, I just got a rather odd idea for an RP here, which may work, because it's unlike everything we have ever RPed about, literally.

So, I was thinking, an RP that's completely unlike reality, deliberately non-realistic, and just for having fun, but not necessarily sacrificing story. Here's an idea of what the characters could look like:

Obviously, no need to bother about realism! Basically, an RP that simply does not regard perfect realism, leaning closer to a video game-like set of mechanics and physicality, an RP to fool around, be silly, do crazy things, neglect conventionalism, and ignore realism. The RP would be fast-paced, and feature a constantly evolving environment, including races, puzzles, vehicles, magical abilities, and whatnot, stuff you'd expect in a kid's game or cartoon. It's just to let off some steam and fool around, think of it like Super Smash Bros. and Conker's Bad Fur Day put together. If anyone's interested, we can discuss it.

The Stormcloaks suck.

I think that's more to do with the Shatter-Shields war profiteering off of the refugees - there isn't much Ulfric can do about it if he wants to keep the favour of his Thanes. The situation isn't as pressing as the War - as far as he's concerned, they're fed, watered and have work. Improving upon those living conditions would have to come after the Stormcloak victory.

The decision to keep Argonians outside of the city was also in the interests of keeping order. Keep in mind that the people of the Grey Quarter are there BECAUSE the Argonians burned down their homes and slaughtered their families.

The war as a whole is stupid, because both the Stormcloaks and Imperials have strong and valid points, yet they only attack their flaws.

Plus, if you're a Hadvaar fan, you clearly haven't played a Khajiit. He's a filthy racist, is what he is – whereas Ralof will accept you even if you are a High Elf.

If you REALLY want a fun civil war play through, get the Crown for one side and give it to the other. Their reactions are priceless (and neither will allow you to swear an oath of loyalty). Better yet, complete the Dark Brotherhood story, and then join the Imperials - the Oath of Loyalty actually changes. I think the former play through netted me about 6 dark brotherhood attacks, which was especially problematic considering the character only wore tavern clothes and an iron dagger for the entire game.

*Yawns* Well, I'm alive. Lets see what needs doing.

Oh my, I guess the Argonians got their revenge against the Dark Elves for being slaves?

Hadvar's racist? Ah, I guess being very prejudiced against Elves, Khajiits, Argonians, or Orcs would technically be racist, and much more appropriately than real-life racism (seeing as there is only the human race).

Looks like there's quite a lot of backstory in Skyrim I didn't notice. Speaking of which, I'm just casually playing through quests at random with Demonica, she's level 26 I think, though I'm still running around in iron armor and selling my best loot. I literally have over 40k gold from so much looting, and I don't even take everything from every body, I leave attire/armor alone to keep things mostly realistic. It's kinda odd to be able to carry several components of armor meant for the entire torso.

The Argonians have been super badass ever since the Oblivion Crisis.

To be brief: the Argonians worship the Hist trees, which give them visions and re-incarnate their soul into a baby Argonian after death, or something. Anyways, the Oblivion Crisis was an event where portals opened up across Tamriel, and Daedra (demons) invaded. The game Oblivion mainly takes place in Cyrodil, so we only see the direct results of it there.

But in Black Marsh, the Hist trees had warned the Argonians beforehand (but for some reason the scaly bastards decided not to tell anyone.) When the portals opened, the Argonians invaded Oblivion , and the Daedra had to close their own portals in fear (in everywhere else, it was the human soldiers who had to close the portals.)

Afterwards, they declared independence from the Empire (they were salty that the Empire had withdrawn all its forces back to Cyrodil during the crisis) and then invaded Morrowind (which was weakened after the eruption of Red Mountain.) They ended up taking and destroying the Capital. I think House Redoran eventually drove them out, and declared, but I'm not sure.

Either way, Morrowind withdrew from the Empire as well, because they had done nothing to help them during the Oblivion Crisis, Eruption of Red Mountain, or the Argonian Invasion.

TL;DR: The Argonians are responsible for the collapse of 1/4 of the Empire.
Beneath the gold, the Bitter Steel.
