OK, back. I came back home last night, took me four nights to drive from Van Zandt, Texas, to get back home in British Columbia. Had a a great time, turns out my friend I met online was 100% legit and real, even spent three nights at her place. And no, this was not a romantic relationship, it was a semi-celebration of our friendship and keeping my word, and playing video games (Super Smash Bros. and Twilight Princess, on GameCube). We also did some sword fighting, armoured training, forging, fire steel striking, and I saw two baby alligators (they were hissing at me, tho).
USA was much better than I expected. Gas is way cheaper, I had no problem bringing my replica swords and armor across the border, and had no problem, at all, anywhere. I kept hearing things like 'race relations worse in US history' and stuff like that, but when I was in south-east Dallas, I only saw one other white guy, I went to three different gas stations, and had no problem, African-Americans were quite polite, friendly and funny, just like most people. If all this feminism and BLM stuff is ruining race relations, well, I seem to have completely missed it. I had no problem with Hispanics or fundamentalist Christians, either. I did not come across any riots, violent protests, Antifa, KKK, or anything else dangerous whatsoever. I may have overestimated Trump's political policies, as well as the other political groups. Literally nothing bad happened.
I had a great time, first vacation I had in seven years. After six years of labour, it sure was nice to go see USA. I drove from British Columbia to Saskatchewan, North Dakota to Texas, then through Colorado, Montana and Washington to get back home.
Oh, and I will be attempting to continue all RPs I'm in, see what's happened, and how I can continue.
