Mostly because I finished one intro, decided the worldlore I wrote in it was a bit rough, so I scrapped it and made a new one just as long that was smoother.

So George, that skinshifting magic - it has no effect on the personality, does it? Any moral restrictions or sudden changes in attitude?

I'm thinking of a character who killed his brother when he found him trying to eat dirt, before fleeing into the wilderness where he developed his powers. The trauma of murdering his brother and the years of isolation drove him a bit mad. Beneath the gold, the Bitter Steel.

Hmm... Well, skinshifting does result in tapping into your feral side, so while you won't lose yourself to the animal form you'll certainly feel those animal instincts.

So, depending on what you become, you'll have some of the instincts and desires of that kind of animal, but you can shrug it off with focus.

Annie, since I'm currently pretty knee-deep in the plot I think you kind of have to wait for me regardless. I'll post eventually when I get inspired to write some sci-fi, but right now you'll have to wait. Maybe join my new thread or something, I don't know. I am Inferi.
