How many more posts to get back to that sub plot?

I don't know, a few more turns or so.

:P Did you miss Garras and Zaeed at the bathtub, then?

I don't recall seeing that!

I do recall Tali getting sick from eating cheese, though. Ha.

Anyways, the Party was so fun, I could not just have one playthroguh of it, so I deleted a few saves, went through all character cutscenes in the area, then saved right before the terminal to start the party. This is worth a second playthrough, see how things go.

Initially, I went for a more energetic party, though it wasn't as energetic as I expected. The dialogue here and there was funny, and the biggest surprise was near the end. Did my Kirby really have sex with Javik? That totally took me by surprise, I sure didn't expect that. Pretty gross to think about, but oh well, none of my business. I suppose it's only fair, seeing as I was cold-hearted enough to not let her have any romance, rejected Kaidan's little date, and I had a hunch that the "A little more than friends..." dialogue option when talking to Liara hinted something, so I didn't pick that. I'd be kinda upset if my admirable Kirby Shepard was this alien-focused lesbian.

Besides that one flood who hid behind a corner on the pillar of autumn, have you ever seen a flood that could use a weapon particularly well? Or have they been convenient ammo dumps for the hero to replenish their ammo?

Any Halo CE flood with a rocket launcher.

Seriously, whoever decided to give the flood rocket launchers in that game, and then give them pinpoint accuracy, needs to be punched in the throat.

Inferi, yeah, that's a good point. But, there is another group of soldiers, who came from Shirley's subplot, so they'll meet Rem no matter what, to make sure no-one dies needlessly. Though, plot armour is quite powerful in my RPs; not sure if that's good or not.

The problem with plot armor is that it removes all stakes. You know that no matter what happens, you will always come out alive. Fact is, most of us are capable of making smart tactical decisions that pay off, and the solutions to most problems are usually simple and straightforward enough that the only way to die is to make a blatantly bad decision.

I'd like to know that I can at least be punished for my failures, that way it feels rewarding when I come up with a good plan or a creative move. And no offense, but the hints are kind of annoying - Inferi sort of mentioned something like that earlier, but its not exactly the best feeling when I'm reading a post, form an idea in my head, only to immediately see you bring up exactly what I was thinking about afterwards. It's more satisfying to solve things on my own.
Beneath the gold, the Bitter Steel.
