So then, I'm pretty confident that the 'testing' that happens to Annie is going to permanently scar her both physically and mentally. Maybe even turning her from the semi-adorable 13 year old girl into a horribly ugly abomination of nature.

Why? Because that's what a mad scientist would do, ESPECIALLY a goddamn Collector! I am Inferi.

You may not have a choice in the matter. We're talking about creatures that forcibly experiment on, corrupt and change other life. The victims don't exactly get a say - all they can do is avoid getting captured in the first place. Beneath the gold, the Bitter Steel.

What, did you think that after undergoing 'testing' Annie would be able to walk away without any issues or permanent scarring?

By getting kidnapped by the Collector 'mad scientist', as you keep referring to it, you're basically agreeing to put your character's life in the hands of an inhuman creature which is being controlled by killer machine sthat want to exterminate and indoctrinate all life in the galaxy.

You are literally asking to be turned into a hideous mutant. I am Inferi.

A hideous mutant that the rest of the cast is going to have to destroy, since those experiments pretty much always end up with the subject fighting for their enemies. Done in by the dubious doings of destiny.
