I'll gloss over it, but there doesn't seem to be any cohesion towards events. Annie and Shirley inhabit the same zone, but it's like their sensory perception tunes in and out to completely different things - so much so they may as well be in two different rooms.

Seriously though Annie. They aren't prisoners. They are actually breaking into the facility in search of Forerunner tech. You should have been reading the Arbiter posts.

I was just looking at the nameplate - N7 armor in the mass effect universe is only obtainable by being N7 personal. N7 are the elite of the alliance navy, only attainable by recommendation and harsh training. I guess they'd be the rough equivalent of SAS?

If 12 of them met them as they landed, THAT would be a big deal.
Hm, I'll be sure not to use that picture to depict Alliance marines. I should have been more careful.

Yes, they are quite different. Once they (eventually) regroup with the other characters (Rem, Kestyr, Enlille, Rodisus, and Gary), things will split up between Annie and Shirley. Shirley will also soon have an opportunity to enter a Sleipnir mech.
