You can mercilessly kill in self-defense; self-defense is a legal right so long as you do not exceed the force of your attacker(s). Read the self-defense laws of your country or state, and you will get a similar or identical code of law.


Oh, and I will be leaving soon, when I get back, I will start working my posts for Titanomachy.

*shrugs* Just because the original post was off-base doesn't necessarily mean the opinion is invalid to what we do on this forum. Stories are, after all, not limited to fiction - and fiction is not just limited to one's imagination.

Azi’s post, I feel, doesn’t knowingly discriminate against any user on this forum – and neither has any of the subsequent posts. So what’s the harm in a little wordplay, besides a textbook of aged rules on a barely moderated forum?

Honestly, I thought it was good to passively celebrate the inevitable defeat of a subfaction of terrorists. I have a friend in the Philippines, she lives a reasonable distance away from the affected area, but I am still concerned for her. She did reply to my messages via Wattpad, so she's alive and well, so very good. I hope the national martial law won't last too long.

Yes, you must have a reason and justification for self-defence. In my case that I alluded to, a terrorist faction is worthy of being mercilessly killed or rendered to uselessness, because they will do the same to you. I wish no-one would have to be involved in killing in self-defence, but this is a reality in our world. When the police or army cannot help you, you must be able to kill to defend yourself, family, friends, and the innocent. Of course, it is a very complicated topic, with complicated legal issues.


Yes, I will be working on the next phase of Titan soon, I just need to edit my resume a bit. I should be able to start, finish, and post the next phase of the role-play sometime tonight.

I believe a while back you asked about how many hours it would take to brew a potion.

I'm going to say that's up to you. Again, feel free to exercise creativity when it comes to Alchemy. Hell, even make up your own plants if you want, and say they're from some far-off land (Drakonia, Drow Empire, Naris, Pixia, etc.)

Obviously, an extremely powerful potion shouldn't be ready immediately, and may have to be prepared well in advance. Just take into consideration the rarity of the ingredient vs. the power of the potion, and then try to think of an appropriate preparation time that you think balances it out.

All I ask is that you specify which potions/poisons your character has on hand when an RP begins, or when you acquire them. And if you think something about a potion or poison will be too powerful or off the rails, just pitch the idea to me first.
