From what I understand, Kylo has been mind screwed by the first order since he was born, exaggerating his parental abandonment issues and causing him to idolise a mass murderer. He never developed coping mechanisms for this, causing his ideals to split into two or more fragmented personalities that want to follow the light side of the force in one hand, and the dark side on the other.
Honestly, the guy isn't well in a setting where there are no psychologists. He is a good character, and I'm interested to see what becomes of him.
Rey, on the other hand, has coping mechanisms. I’m not saying her life doesn’t suck; I’m saying she is less mentally dependant and able to grow into her own person through a healthy balance of logic and emotion.
Not having seen the new Star Wars films, I can't add much.
West, you made me realize I was using the wrong titles. I will go back and correct Mrs. to Ms. for Rem and Enlille earlier on, heh. Love it when the most subtle thing means so much.

“Shirley, it's me, Master Giraudon, the same voice who spoke with you earlier. We are flying the shuttle to your back right; its rear door is open, fly your cab straight inside; trust me!”
Your use of "trust me" set off an irl trigger.
In any event, are you guys flying a Kodiak, a pelican, or something different? Because neither of these vehicles have the specifications to do what we've described
Oh, it's a Kodiak; all shuttles/dropships thus far are Cerberus Kodiaks, whereas the cabs/flying cars are assumed to be, well, flying cars. A car should fit in just fine!
