It's because of the big battle around high charity that he left in the first place. If the Elites could help contain the flood (and if the Arbiter could personally secure the prophets safety), the launch of the great journey could have been delayed. After all, why would Truth and Mercy want to miss their own transcendence?

In that case, there wouldn't have been a Halo 3 at all. The entire Covenant fleet, their capital city, and every single loose Flood spore, would have been wiped out at Installation 05.

Let's be honest, nothing Truth does post-Halo 2 made sense.

I mean, I read a theory that he knew what the Rings were capable of, and intended to fire them whilst waiting things out on the Ark, which is out of the Halos' firing range, so he could sweep in and take over the now-empty galaxy. But that's just a theory.

Halo seems much more complex than I first thought.

Anyways, I finished the posts for West and Annie, I will be working on posts for the others.

Ancient, I just thought of a way to incorporate your idea of Flood-healing into the role-play; I can merge it with the Covenant storyline, eventually. However, this may take time, and may be a middle-starting episode within the role-play. In the meantime, you can have a different character. After the Cerberus attack, the next area will be Mars, or the space near Mars-Earth, so that may help.

Presumably, the Gravemind is active, and follows the route of Halo 2: it will be revealed sometime on the Halo. Oh, wait, unless Gravemind isn't on the Halo? I actually honestly do not know where the Gravemind is, but we assume that, at least during Halo 2, we are in a similar situation.

I am reading the Wiki on Gravemind, this will help me understand it better.

Well, the situation in Halo 2 is that the Monitor of Installation 05 got lazy, and failed to implement adequate containment procedures, which allowed the Gravemind and all the flood contained in the Installation to escape. Ever since then, there's been a constant war between the Flood and the Sentinels for control of an area known as the Quarantine zone.

The Flood only managed to escape when the Humans and Covenant started killing all the Sentinels, and brought in some nice ships for them to hitch a ride on.

Ah, so that's how the Flood emerged. Most of Halo 2 I did not understand, but reading about it in the Wikis really helps. I also read most of the Wiki of Gravemind, so I should be able to feature Gravemind with better understanding when the time comes.

I hope the RP is getting more exciting. As sometimes happening, there are shortcuts to reason, logic or sense, for the sake of making story and action. I'll just use the lame excuse that Cerberus used Reaper technology to disrupt Horizon and snuck in pretty good.

Speaking of Mass Effect, I went to floor 5 of my ship, and found a pretty cool scene. I spoke to James, 'cause why not, and he and Shephard ended up in a little playful fistfight. It was a pretty cool scene, I just reloaded the game to make a save for that spot, that's worth a save. I found it kinda funny that a lady much smaller than James just throws him down like that, it'd never happen in a real fight, but it was funny to watch. Now, I'm probably gonna spend like twenty minutes replaying that scene just to see different outcomes to satisfy my curiosity.

I have to admit, I always loved Mass Effect crew interactions - especially the bonus lines if you actively avoid talking to them between missions.

My favourite example is with how coldly my Shepard has treated Ashley since ME1... I think she was only saved on Virmire so Shepard would have a chew toy to bully.
It's no wonder she turned on me - lucky Garrus had my back.
