Probably one who is seeking training to become one instead?

Well ultimately it's Azi's decision on what you are allowed or not allowed to do.

Maybe these Banished could be more technologically advanced, or something. But the Brutes aren't usually known for their technological prowess - every time they managed to get to weapons of mass destruction, they always ended up wiping each other out and ended up restarting the cycle all over again. When the Covenant discovered them, they had only recently discovered rocketry and radio, and they had only joined because the Covenant offered them new technology. And when the Banished broke away, they continued to raid and salvage Covenant tech.

That said, they do have some scientific or technological know-how. Atriox's suit is made out of salvaged UNSC parts, and his Energy Mace was created by combining a Brute Gravity Hammer and a Sangheli Energy Sword. So at the very least this shows they are good at re-purposing existing technology. Unfortunately, this does not necessarily translate into developing medicine.

But fun fact: In the Halo universe, there is already a cure for the Flood. The Spartan-I program - one of the side effects is immunity to Flood Infection, and it's how Sergeant Johnson survived Halo 1. Unfortunately, everyone involved in that program is now dead, and everything about it is classified. Even if the program itself was common knowledge, no one really knows how to recreate it.
Beneath the gold, the Bitter Steel.

So, Azi, when were the Spartans originally kidnapped in this universe? Master Chief is 41 at the beginning of Halo 1, and all the Spartans were kidnapped at the same age, but I don't when they were kidnapped in your universe or if your universe has multiple generations of Spartan-IIs.

I don't know. It's up to whatever the individual wishes. I think we can assume a potentially different story behind every Spartan II, why not?

If the Brutes are not technologically advanced, I don't see how they could cure the Flood. You can't cure a parasite.

Interesting, so there is an immunity from the Flood.

OK Fishing, I read your bio, sounds good, now we have an opposing character! I also added George's character and the Arbiter to the character list. I am waiting to see what Inferi wishes to do.
