In a gunfight, I'm pretty sure everyone is shooting to protect themselves.

Just saying, don't put a character in a situation where they should die if you don't want them dead. Done in by the dubious doings of destiny.

To be fair, I don't think that'd hold up in court. Annie made the conscious decision to crawl around the cars and start shooting without provocation. I mean, the only people who probably were in a position to shoot her were her own guys, but still...

I read over The Fallen Light. It's kind of creepy, since I was imagining something similar a few nights ago - what would the world look like if the sun never rose and the world were only illuminated by moonlight?

The logical conclusion I reached was, "there had better be coffee in this continuity, or riot!" O_o
