Hey, since you're here, do you mind the radar thing I put in the post? I didn't want to give her any upgrades because she's already plenty strong as is, but...yeah, I couldn't not do one. Done in by the dubious doings of destiny.

Gimme some deets: Does it only pick up things when they move? Can it be detected? Can it be blocked? What's the range? Does Scarlet constantly make radar beeps while she has it on?

I can't imagine that it would be a problem; if anything I might be able to do some interesting things with it. -Evil Grin-

Also: don't know if you want to fix it or not, but you double posted once in your latest iteration; I know how much that irritates everyone around these parts!

I WHAT?!

As for the actual important parts...I was thinking that it's a passive ability with, for the moment, a range of about 50 feet or so. I would imagine that it could be blocked with whatever types of jammers they use on regular nexii stuff of the same type, and surfaces would hinder it somewhat depending on how thick they were. As for the detection, it would work in the same way regular sonar does, i.e. sending the pulse out and then collecting it again so she gets a picture of what's in the area of effect. Is it detectable? Depends. In some cases, sure, but it's not noticeable by regular people and it would take slightly specialized surveillance equipment to realize it's there.

And no, she doesn't constantly make beeps, although that is incredibly amusing and would probably irritate everyone to no end.

Doesn't sound like it'll be a problem then!

Also, I had one of those "Eureka!" moments in the shower. A chapter for D37; one that isn't even mean - it's downright cruel. It's terrible, it's HORRIFYING, but it's awesome. I desperately wish I could share it; but that would be spoiling things for you guys.

I'm excited.

Posting this means you're doing exactly the opposite. I hope you realize that.

Don't you hate that? The same thing happens for me with d&d scenarios when I'm DM, and I can't say anything because it'll remove any impact it might have.

Same thing, I'm a DM myself, so I know exactly what you mean.

Couple serious questions about D37, though:

1. Is Duncan still around? I haven't heard him around in a while (or maybe I missed him if he is)

2. Do you guys want to play it as a mission based RP? There's only 5 of you (4 if Duncan isn't here); so I can build bigger missions to accommodate all of you. Mission-wise, I haven't been able to write out ton of them. If we're knocking out three or so out every 'rotation', I don't know that it'll be a very long thread.
