Anyways, I added a little section near the bottom of page 2 for all the changes I'm making, because actually rearranging the posts will be a pain.
Vampires have an ability that allows them to weaken the Champions' armor, and then their claws can cut through it with enough effort.
Of course, I am now going to have to give the Champions some new abilities, or buff the existing ones...
Balancing is the worst.
Actually, the armor is the most important part of the Champion class. I shouldn't weaken it like that.
Maybe I'll just give the vampires some stronger spells?
Beneath the gold, the Bitter Steel.
How about I just buff the Vampire's monster form to make them stronger in combat? Enough to let them go toe to toe with a Werewolf or Champion, but in a purely physical fight with no magic they would lose.

Question: can servants create other servants? I'm not saying it has to be particularly potent - ie. lesser vampires in Skyrim infect people with Sanguine Vampiris, causing a three day infection before contracting full vampyrism - whereas a stronger vampire can convey the full power in minutes.
I think it could be a cool concept, moreso if servants ever begin to show an interest in freeing their friends/family from their human chains.
Thing is, when will they ever be in a purely physical fight with no magic when up against a werewolf or champion? It's like purposely handicapping yourself in a life or death situation.
I am Inferi.
1) Do the vampires' bat forms change their height?
2) I totally want to see almost like a forbidden romance between two of the leaders, where they know that one day they'll have to kill the other but for right now they'll just lay in bed and let the day go by
Edit: "Hm, I know I can use my magic to my advantage, but this werewolf has no magic, so I should be fair and not use my own"
"WHAT IS WRONG WITH YOU KILL THE THING"
"I'm trying to be even!"
I just play FFXIV at this point. DC: Crystal

Sure. They would have the same power level as any other recruit, but the sense of loyalty is still to the Head of their faction.
That way, even if the Leader is killed and most of the faction destroyed, the survivors can still get back on their feet and attempt to become a force to be reckoned with, even if they can't kill any leaders.

Well, take a look at my character Maddy. I don't know if a forbidden romance would even work, but I'd say he's certainly an option if that road gets traveled.

The magic evens the playing field.

Because you're the leader, I'll say you get, like, a one foot increase. Everyone else stays the same.

Kind of hard to do that when your instincts drive you to hate them, and a voice in your dreams urges you to kill them.
