In my own defense Rovaan does have limits. If anything my original idea was that is sword made him stronger with every kill and with the blade being from the demon real itself would have made him at least 10x more powerful than he is now but I scrapped that idea early on.
Second of all I never implied that Rovaan could easily kill hagspawn. He just swung his blade at whatever moved and since the hagspawn are blinded by their loyalty to their people, they did not care for their own safety enough to dodge out of the way.
My last point is that you don't even know what Rovaan is planning to do. The form he is in now is his final form when he taps into his demonic blood. There is nothing beyond it though I was contemplating it for a time after his battle with Azul but once again scrapped the idea. On another note, some hagspawn did wound Rovaan hence hence his weaker strength and his need for something to even the odds.
Was going to keep it a secret until my next post but with people now complaining about my character I might as well tell you what I was planning.......
Simply put, Rovaan is entering a berserker trance so he can keep fighting despite having s wounds and without fear of death. The red mist is a magical drug that helps to induce the trance nothing more.
To once again reiterate, I had other plans for Rovaan originally but scrapped many of them, another plan being summoning magical swords that can fight on their own. Once again I scalped it since I began to think Rovaan had enough power. If I was to God mod Rovaan I would make him a full demon and a demon king capable of enter the mortal realm whenever he saw fit with all the previously mentioned ideas above. So if people want to still complain then fine. But don't jump to conclusions. I enjoy this community and want to see it keep going and maybe eventually grow again.

Also, it appears Sir has left us. He's put in a request to have his account muted from the forums, so I highly doubt he'll be returning.
Poor guy, I feel bad for coming in and taking over his thread, even if it wasn't by choice. Sad to see a story writer like him leave. Someone get me something PG13 to pour out for him.
I'll dedicate the drink I'm having in a short while to him. It's only fair.

I'm sorry if I came across as seeming like that. I have no complaints with Rovaan whatsoever, and I really like the way you do the character. My comment was much more in jest, referring to the many times he's broken seals and gained powers - again, something I have no problem with - and I apologize if it seemed like I was complaining.

Is it too late to say I actually did read the things he typed?
I agree with you George, however, it seems we should not talk about anything, about anything - about anything - about anything about anything about anything regarding anything, about anything, about anything, regarding about anything, in relation to what may offend users.
The seals were originally to keep him from tapping too much into his power out of fear of being corrupted by it. The first two seals the were on the bone gauntlet he used to have could rest over time, the third however, once broken was done for good.
Seal 1 allowed for pyromancy and summoning of weakened hellfire
Seal 2 allowed for a brief demonic transformation limited to a time constraint.
Seal 3......well seal 3 was what was holding all the previous together and without it, literally hell breaks loose.
There is no need to apologize inferi. I will admit I have not been fully clear wth what my plans for Rovaan were but half the fun with keeping them a secret was to see the reactions of the others involved in the story. Though now I can see it has caused some tension but regardless I do not intend on changing my writing ways.
NarBlood, I've always said that I enjoy Rovaan as a character, (he miraculously hasn't done anything to make Etheldredda dislike him, which is something I haven't seen a character accomplish in a very long time,) and I have no problems with his backstory or the abilities he possesses. I'm glad to have you aboard. Hopefully one day a few of the oldies will return and you can have another wolf thread!
They used to be the forum craze, it's a shame there's no market for it now.

As for everyone else; can we put things into perspective for a moment? Annie has been a part of this community for six years, she's the most consistent and dedicated roleplayer out of the lot of us and I don't think she has a single spiteful bone in her body. All she wants is to roleplay, that's it. No political talk, no cyberwars, just plain ol' fashioned roleplaying. If you find aspects of her habits on this thread annoying then you're more than welcome to that opinion. But is it really worth us slugging it out every few days like this? Because either you guys are going to eventually get banned, or you're going to drive Annie away from the forums. And either way, we all lose out, because there's only a handful of posters left.
