Considering that Annie frequently mentions cookies, is it a surprise I cannot find any in my home?

Anyways, as for medieval generic fantasy, Venom, you may consider including surreal worlds or environments. For example, in one of my stories, Skyhook, the entire setting is within a sky-world, where the "ground" is clouds, and the "sky" is just an eternal night sky full of twinkling stars of every colour.

In Hooks and Chains, the entire world is a meaty monster that births smaller flesh-beasts.

Perhaps you may think of a totally alien environment unlike earth, say, a place where everyone lives only above treetops as the trunks exceed the height of clouds, or maybe you flip everything upside-down, so "above" is earth, and "below" is a fall into an abyssal doom. An easy way to make something different is to make everything different.

I'm definitely interested in alien environments unfamiliar to any human unlike these wusses Inferi and Lasky and they can definitely have a more adventurous feel to them as well as horrific and disturbing one.

For this thread I'm currently brainstorming, there's a continent that's pretty generic, with princesses and knights and magic and such, and there's another continent full of political scheming, barbarian warfare, mythical beasts, and warlord governments.

However the idea I have is that some adventurers from these continents band together to explore a newly discovered southern continent (kinda like Africa I guess) where there's a load of hellish diseases, wild beasts, and unfriendly natives. And then eventually dinosaurs! There's also gonna be some mysteries to solve, assuming everybody doesn't die.
Ramsay Bolton is the king we deserve.

Maybe some sort of conflict where one party wishes to weaponize the dinos while another wants to keep them at peace.

Why can't there be a third way?

Build artificial habitats all along borders specifically suited to each dino variant's needs. Then wall those habitats in. Even if someone somehow manages to get past the walls, they will somehow have to contend with all of the angry dinos within. Then the dinos are both protecting the borders from potential invaders and living in peace.

Because compromise is unrealistic and historically inaccurate. Duh.

**** yo historical accuracy

My character is totally going to campaign for that third way. He will push and push, eventually triumphing through the sheer power of love and friendship.

Those that continue to refuse will be executed.

I thought you'd just use Joric Ironfist and have him drunkenly brawl triceratopses for most of the thread.
