An eerie quiet drifted over the room as the two men sat. The calm lasted much longer than either man had thought as Magenta waltzed back into their company to break the silence.
"That was so refreshing!" shouted Magenta with glee. "I can't remember the last time I felt this clean. And this dress! With curiousness about its origins aside, it is quite fabulous.” She spun around in her new dark red, silk garment. It was tightly fastened up her back while the sleeves and lower-half hung loosely around her arms and legs.
"I guess that's my queue." Tash stood up with his change of clothes in his hands then marched off to the bathroom, and just like that the awkward silence had returned.
Milburn seemed determined to rekindle the mood with a conversation. "So, what kind of a man is he? Tash I mean."
Magenta's attention shifted to the man across the room on the couch. "Well, I can't quite say." Milburn sat up from his laying position with a sense of eagerness. "We met each other seven years ago when we were still little kids, and from there we were only together for like an hour or two afterwards." She paused. "We...got separated. Then I only met back up with him yesterday evening out in the woods north of Seer's Village. From what I've gathered though, he’s pretty big on doing things solo."
"Ahh, a hardcore loner. I see how things are," Milburn said in a sly tone. He deterred from his fantasizing to peer over by the door where Tash had left his sword and axe. "And he's a warrior as well. I think he just might be a perfect match for the scoundrel running loose in these streets."
Magenta remained silent while thoughts ran through her head. Tash spent the last half of his life trying to get stronger and stronger so he could one day get revenge on the man that took his one true friend from him. This street killer must hardly match up.

Tash sunk into the warm bathwater up to his neck. He felt like he could stay in the water for days on end as it soothed his tired muscles. "Tomorrow will go much smoother after taking this bath and, judging from the rest of his house, the beds must be amazing." He snatched the bar of soap sitting next to the tub to begin scrubbing himself clean. "Am I ready for this? This guy may actually be him... No, that's all the more reason to believe I can beat him." His pep talk with himself gave Tash some confidence. "I'll defeat him no matter what."
After finishing his bath, Tash made his way back into the main room where Magenta and Milburn were waiting. His outfit was a forest green vest with a baggy, white shirt underneath. The buttons around the wrists remained undone for added freedom. His pants were a plain black cloth, which left some slight disappointment in the ensemble.
"You look so much better than that scruffy, stray dog of a man that I let in earlier! See how much some water and a few new pieces of clothing can do for someone?" Milburn's eyes were glistening in awe of the cleaned up Tash before him.
"Yeah, just don't expect me to be wearing this daily." Tash peered out the wall sized window to his right. "It looks like it's gotten pretty dark out. Where exactly are the two of us going to be staying?" he asked in reference to Magenta and himself.
"Well I do have a spare bedroom upstairs, but I can't have the both of you staying in one bed! That's just madness!" Milburn snapped his fingers as if an idea had popper into his head. "I know! Why don't you, Tash, stay in my room? That way our charming young lady can have a room all to herself with no one to bother her."
