You're right, so I either forgot to post a piece again, or my train of thought, or rather Tash's train of thought, went from waiting for an answer to just trying to take the outfit via force.
I'll go check the story on my other computer, and by the way, I've posted a story entry on the latest contest thread for all who wish to read it. Page 35 I believe.

Turns out that's just how the story goes. Courtesy of a nice break from writing and starting at rather late times of the night I seemed to have felt that some sort of continuation of a conversation was unnecessary. Oh well, negative or not, that's how it remains to reflect Tash's semi rash actions.

Tash rested his load down on the table in front of him. While rubbing his shoulder, he replied, "If those are good enough for you then yes. Now my main concern would be on what my next mission will be."
Rich grinned. "Not even thinking about the rest of the payment." He tossed a bag of gold from his pocket across the table. "But I'm glad you're so anxious to keep up this work." He retrieved an additional item from his pocket and handed it over the table. "That little envelope has information on a fairly new chain of murders down in Ardougne."
"Ardougne? That's quite a travel."
"Don't lose your interest now, boy. The guard force there has reports of people being killed by what they can only define as magic; corpses missing chunks of their bodies such as heads or spots where important organs would be. The holes where the attacks were landed seem to be scorched by fire, and I doubt any conventional torches could be capable of it."
Tash's eyes widened as they thought back on days gone by. A wounded man was scorched by fire in Varrock, caused by an attack from magic.
"I'll get there as soon as possible," Tash speedily replied.
"Hold your horses. You really must not care at all about the details of money." A stack of papers slid across the table to Tash. "There's all the info I've got on this guy." A pouch of coins followed the papers. "And there's your first half. Now I can see that you're ready to dash off, but it might not be a bad idea to give yourself at least a day or two on this one. Read over those papers perhaps."
"I'll have time to read on the road." Tash stood up while shoving the papers into the coin purse then stashing that into his pocket. "I'll more or less be leaving by tomorrow at noon."

Rich leaned back against his chair and let out a sigh. He grabbed the beer mug standing in front of him and before taking a swig spoke, "Just make sure to not get yourself killed. I've known you for what? Two days? And've only gotten to speak with you for about twenty minutes in total. I've still got some questions of my own to ask you when we've got time." His lips touched glass as he let the frothy liquid flow down his throat. Tash nodded as he made his way to the door in a hurry. "That boy's a curious one."
The moon was glowing like always, and a small breeze was bustling over the stone path leading north from Seers' Village. Footsteps cracked against the rocks making up the little road. Tash's hand was digging through the stack of papers for a name of his newest target finally ending on a sheet entitled "Bio #302". He halted his run to quickly begin scanning the page.
The paper read:
Name: Unknown
Age: Mid Twenties
Gender: Male
Appearance: Blond hair, fair skin, light blue eyes, somewhere around 6 feet tall.
Description: Has been spotted numerous times around the alleyways of Ardougne during both night and day. Uses a sort of fire magic to destroy parts of human bodies, may be usable against other solid structures as well. Extreme caution is to be taken.
Submitted by: Alfred Gahnson, Guardsman.
"Geez, taken straight from the Guard house and it has only a brief mention of who he actually is." Tash began walking again. "But this could definitely be him. His hair's different, but his eyes are the same, the height, skin, and age sound possible. The magic is a big possibility, but they really could’ve done a better job on this all." He made the turn down the other path towards the bridge. "I should start packing at once so I can leave once I wake up." He broke into a sprint over the remaining rocks and across the bridge to the opposing river bank.

An hour passed since Tash had arrived back at his campsite. The packing was complete within the first fifteen minutes and he had been roaming around the area waiting for drowsiness to find him. Lying down on the mini beach he looked up at the starry sky. A peaceful embrace swept over the patch of land. The sounds of crickets and other insects buzzing around in the woods played a harmonic melody to go along with the dull blue scenery. Tranquility had been found and sleep would soon follow, yet it was disturbed by a low booming sound and a flare like fireball shooting up into the air off to the northeast.
Tash caught site of the flying ball of flame. A thought sparked in his head as he tensed back up. "That's probably Rosco! Or at least someone out in the middle of the woods at night, either way I should go check it out." He dove into the tent to grab Daskal and a pouch of runes before remembering something else he should take with him. He left the tent with a sword, bow, and quiver strapped to his back and a satchel on his waist, while taking off along the river heading north. He knew of a fallen tree that he could use as a bridge over the water into the other forest.
Another blast sounded off in the forest. This time it was much closer and not in the form of a flare. It was from an attack against something. Inside a clearing stood both a monstrous, gray troll from the far off mountains where they lived and a scantily clad girl. The troll was armed with a large club like tree trunk and the girl was panting heavily with one hand held outwards and the other holding up her torn shirt along with a small pouch. The girl moved her free hand to the pouch and pulled out a small group of runes to make another attack on the fairly stupid and undamaged brute glaring at her.

From a bordering tree flew an arrow seemingly entirely crafted of steel, as well as being soaked in water. It plowed into the troll's flabby gut moving its attention to the surrounding forest. Another arrow landed higher up in his chest where its skin was slightly rougher. The beast let out a roar of anguish just as a mysterious stream of magic hit it causing its entire body to convulse in spasms. The tree in its hand fell to the ground moments before the troll itself tumbled over with a ground thundering thud. The body continued to shake as it lay fried in the dirt.
Tash stepped out from behind one of the trees with a bow in his hands and chuckled. "Well whaddya' know it does work like I thought it would." His eyes moved from the collapsed troll to the girl who was now running at him full speed. His mouth fell open to the poorly dressed woman coming at him while taking in the curves of her body as he moved up from her shoeless feet to her face. Flowing in the wind was her mildly dirty, purple hair. "Purple hair? No...it can't possibly be."
The girl flung herself at Tash with her arms open to grab him in a hug. She pressed herself up against his body forcing him to blush slightly. "Thank you ever so much for saving me!" She was a few inches shorter than her savior and looked up to his face. "You can't believe how grateful I am that you managed to come out here and kill that troll! I haven't a clue what you used to do it but whatever it was you must be one of the best magicians I've ever seen!" Before giving him time to speak she started up again. "Now that I think about it, I seem to meet a lot of powerful mages all the time."
The suspicion was clarified. "Magenta if I recall?" asked Tash as he looked back down at the smiling haggard girl clinging to his body.

The girl gasped. "That boy? No...it can't possibly be." Tash nodded while laughing in his thoughts from her remark in relation to his own earlier. "How in the world did you get all the way out here? I noticed you disappeared after that incident in the woods seven years ago, but I thought you died! Yet, here you are saving me from near death."
"That's a very good question, and I should be asking you the same thing seeing as we are out in the middle of the woods in the north of Seers' Village, which is nowhere near Varrock."
Magenta stepped back and put a hand to her head and made a weak laugh leaving her shirt unsupported. She felt a breeze over her exposed chest and quickly opened her eyes to see Tash casually trying not to look. Her arm flew over into action to cover herself. "Well...this is rather awkward."
Tash turned around to face the trees. "Why don't we head back to my camp?" Magenta agreed and pulled her clothing scraps back up as her escort started off into the woods. The awkward silence lasted all the way through the forest, while Tash helped her over fallen trees, through prickly bushes, and over the river. After finally ending up back in the encampment, Tash fetched a spare shirt and some pants for his new, yet old, companion to wear.
"I think I'll wash myself off in the water a bit. I can practically feel the dirt layered on my skin," claimed Magenta as she snatched the clothing and moved a little ways upstream to walk in and cleanse her body. Tash was lounging in front of his tent when she waltzed back in a baggy pair of brown colored clothing. "Not quite the best fit, nor my style, but in comparison to these I can't really complain." She held up her shredded clothing coated in dirt and other assorted gunk then tossed them next to Tash's tent. "Mind if I spend the night?"
