I deserved a bashing. I sounded like a pompous jerk. :@
Also, I'm really bad with English spelling so for that, I apologize.
Roshie, the truth is your story is honestly one of my favorite on the forums. It was purely because of this fact that I tried my hardest to find everything and anything that I thought made 'Outlander' less of a story than it could be.
I wanted to help you make it as close to perfect as you could get it, but I guess I overdid it a little. :|
If you think that I hated your story then you're wrong, I loved it. I just wish that in the review I gave you I wasn't so stressed out. (There was a math assignment I got through the mail that I had to research online, and ask a whole bunch of people to figure out how to do it. Yes, my school is mean its pupils :( .) I'm pretty sure my stress showed in this review.
Even so...
I was indeed 'nit picky'. When I read the review I gave you over again, I got an empty feeling in my stomach, and I couldn't help but wonder, 'How could I even write that?'
If you want, I can write you another review later, one that you deserve. I put your story on my must read list for a reason and I want to make that clear.
I know that what I wrote gives you the impression that I was just being mean, but please keep in mind that I was simply trying to make it better than it already was. My intentions were good, but it certainly didn't come across that way.
Regards,
-Tycca

You don't have to apologise for anything Tycca. And you don't have to re-review it either.
Alst night when I read it, I didn;t read it. That was the problem lol. I was tired and cranky and only read the first paragraph. I just quickly skimmed the rest of the first 2 posts, and when I commented in the morning I hadn't read any more than that yet.
I'm flattered that you worked so hard to find negative comments about it actually XD

Nice job Roshi. I really liked this story and I think it is one of the best on this forum. If I was a rater I would give you a 10/10, and once again great job.

Tycca,
May I add my voice to the chorus here, suggesting that you not feel bad about your review in this thread. Pretty much every writer out there would rather have a long and highly detailed review than a brief and perfunctory one. And virtually every writer would rather have any written review than nothing at all.
We can all learn from our readers' comments, whether we agree and choose to act on those comments or not. I always find it interesting to see what my readers think, even though I absolutely don't make all the changes that are recommended!
If you keep on reviewing authors' works to that extent, you'll make a very positive name for yourself within this forum, and in turn will be rewarded with more readers of your own material. Double-check your facts and learn from your experiences of course, but keep it going!
Meanwhile, I apologise to Roshie for using up this thread space for matters not directly relating to Outlander. I should read it again some time myself, because it truly is still one of the most beautifully crafted short stories that this forum has to offer!

Woo! More activity and new readers here in the last day or two than I've had in quite some time.
Thanks for all the comments :) Musaka (I forgot your name sorry), thanks for pointing out the typo. I wrote it quickly and take no offence whatsoever.
Dream and scoot, no need to apologise for furthering the review discussion. Discussion of any kind is welcome on my thread. As long as it's discussion and not flaming or spamming.
