Okay, I'm sorry this is late - I got really caught up with things IRL.
I really enjoyed your epitaph - it has a nice flow to it and maintains its rhythm. I ended up reading it fast - but I wonder should it be read slowly? Because I find it too hard to read it slowly due to its structure.
I'm not too sure what the twist is; does it lie in the poem or is it the entire epitaph itself? This doesn't mean it's hard to find, it just means I'm too stupid to find it.
I loved your ending, by the way. It's a nifty little twist on words.
