Adding some responses I made in Discord so it may not make total sense as I am only doing my side of it or both and I have not noted who said what :P

There's the Abyss we go to where abyssal demons live, then the actual Abyss.
Which is probably just another pocket of trash they live on
I wonder how many races/planets survived the revision?
Not sure if any planets survives intact but as long as they have some sort of energy source then life is tenacious , and if enough of a race manage to avoid being feasted on as well, then maybe they could have survived. If we can find the abyss, then it should not be too much of a stretch for others to hide there either.

Yes, yes yes, but the fact they survive down there and the Kin hid there speaks for itself. If life was impossible down there then the demons wold all have died of starvation a long time ago. All life needs is a decent energy source.

What about life and magic leaking through from the the non-abyssal planes and anything in the Abyss that might generate the same sort of thing?

In my Kha Headcanon the reason Kha passes on the secrets of teleportation was to increase the energy flow, not only it opening up new weak spots but energy being lost by those using it as well. Raining food as it were.

obviously, anything that possible of generating magic power would radiate some ammount of energy, (however miniscule the ammount may be)
like, How much energy doesn't it take to keep the worldgates active?

I think that would be reasonable to assume. It is one of the reasons I made Kha someone who shows the keys to teleportation and trying to get people to use the magic she shows them, with her supposedly gaining power from it. That is headcanon but the reasoning seemed sound to me.

I was sure I mentioned my headcanon story before as I made it to try and tie up a lost of loose ends. Like how the Adventurer completed so many quests in one year. Why they seemed so lucky. How they can go back in time and tweak things when Seren failed. Why a demon gave humans teleportation.

Kha is headcanon but I am using it as a representative example. The link to the story can be found if you scroll up.But the point stands that there is enough there for certain things to be linked togethe.

reminds me a bit of Amon from Starcraft
Well.....yeah OK, I'll take your word for it. But did you see what I meant about how all the odd things can tie together into something that makes a kind of sense?

The whole wonky quest system and all the quests done in one year can make canonical sense with a non-linear time entity in the mix stirring the pot, so to speak. I think the story kind of said it better..I hope?

Yes well that is not quiet how I'd take it but all the Elders represent aspects, the Elders want to keep churning out Revisions. Kha found a way to survive it and in the end a better way forward, maybe. Sure they are supposedly a little pissed and is quite willing to grind them to dust if need be. But all the Elders represent aspects. Kha is no different.

The path to reaching Elder is near impossible..she represents Balancing the aspects. I did not put that in but in the end she'd hopefully end up accepted. She was nothing where the Elders started their Revisions, but that has changed and the Elders are in fact failing, their numbers dwindling. Yet the Elders keep at the same game..something has to give.

If you want to suggest or even add to that in the thread have at it. I;d love to see what you come up with!

Well Kha is not out to rule the universe, they jst have a belief in how things should be run and is going to do whatever it take s to end the Revisions and see their idea implemented. That means stopping the Elder Gods.

sure, but even you said the demons are voracious in your thread, and with kha's coming, the demons would follow
Heck a being of God-tier powers (or near elder) would automaticly become a ruler by default
just look at guthix, he didnt want to be a god,
heck he hardly wanted to be known
Powerlevels are a thing that matters in this world
even if the owner of said powerlevel doesnt want it to

Well even the Elders have minions and religion, that is just more of the same :stuck_out_tongue: The demons was just one of the only ways for her to operate unseen and gather strength, in my headcanon. But at the end of the day if they are not devouring everything in sight and the ecology runs smoothly enough then a balance can be struck. That is the idea behind it..I think at least The purpose of adventure is to shine light into dark places,

But as long as they are seen as a Primordial Demon, even if that is not what they are, their following will never get to out of hand anyway.
That and how the odd things of RS can be tied together. Like the too many qusts in one year thing...or teh wonky order of quests that can seem nonlinear, etc
The story I did a while back tries to tie it all together
though the nuts and bolts of any story that was acutally used would have to be only losley based on it as I know it needs work, even if I am not sure how to go about that work

but I feel that the way its described in your headcanon makes her (it?) out to be too powerful i'd rather have it mid-tier entity (low tier mahjarrat for example) utilizing its telepathy powers to make things happen to benefit it as it stands now, this just seems like something to rival, possibly trump the Elder gods to me
and that just feels wrong, plus its a slippery slope to escalating exponentially, like WoWand Kha just seems like another step in the chain
wich makes everything else feel... i dont quite know how to explain it.. Unimportant?

Unfortunately to create demons from nothing she needs a toe hold on Teir 1 as that is the current Lore.

What if she didn't create them, but guided them with the help of telepathy?
what if the demons are mutations of other living creatures exposed to the abyss
forced mutations in the drive to survive
only certain type of creatures that were able to absorb magic / radiation survived the revisions by hiding in the abyss (or something along those lines)

once again, you really shouldn't be bouncing your ideas off me, there must be someone else better suited

Imagine sliske, now take away his wights, staff of armadyl and stone of jas ( I have NOT done endgame yet, so lets try to keep this spoiler free)
His Shtick seems to be the shadow realm, he's pretty good with it and dabbles in necromancy. Couldn't Kha's powers be over the mind? telepathy, slight influencial powers, Adapt in the power of suggestion?

Sure How about this though.....they are not Tier 1 in any particular aspect, especially in raw power but taken together maybe? Lets say their power is not the same thing at all as the Elder's....a missing link in their pursuit maybe? Without it they have to use thousands of time power power than needed and are never going to get a full return on their investment without it?
I think that would help explain their dwindling power and numbers, maybe they shot themselves in teh foot with the First revision?

A question I came up with is come Kha have come from The Void? Now note there is 2 Voids one was carved by the Corpeal Beast the other is where the Pests live. So I suppose it could also be an either one choice? The purpose of adventure is to shine light into dark places,
