I got shot, a short while before coming here. Hurt worse than it really was, although I’m definitely not going to complain about it getting fixed up right here. I would assume it was the same people who came after me, but I didn’t really get to look at who did it.

Taking the crossbow by the attached strap and sliding it over her shoulder, the young woman took a couple steps away from the counter, nodded to herself, and then said, “
Yeah, when everyone’s ready, let’s go. I’ve spent too much time sitting here already.

As everyone went to move towards the door, the hooded woman said, “
If you’re going to go, this seems to be your chance. If you want my advice, though, I’d say that you shouldn’t unless you’re absolutely sure that you can.

There wasn’t any hint of an insulting or derogatory tone in the woman’s words. If anything, there was some concern. She didn’t seem to have a preference either way, although it did look like she wasn’t sure if this was Elyssia’s best choice.
