Hi everyone, i'm happy break's friend, He can't get to his computer right now, He's on a road trip to visit family.
happy break asked me to just add in what he texts me, into the story :P
Feona quickly lowered herself down and agilely landed right beside jack
"where did you learn to climb like that?" jack asked obviously somewhat amused
feona just smiled in response. Jack looked down for the next platform it was around 70 feet down and just a little bit to the side. Jack lowers himself onto the platform, with feona in pursuit. Feona looks around, and tries to move her feet,
"ughh jack something is wrong." Feona said
"what's wrong?" jack responded
Feona tries to move her feet and can't
Jack notices Feona's weird foot movements and attempts to move his own feet, but finds they are stuck.Jack notices the entire platform has a weird shiny sheen.
"what is this stuf??" but before feona could finish her sentence, they hear a silky scratching sound.
Jack's eyes widen as his he found where the sound was coming from, It was a dog sized tarantula with 8 beady dark eyes, a overall dark greyish coat of hair, And fangs had a dull yellowish orange color to them. It looked to have solid strong sturdy legs capable of jumping far distances. The creature was crouching it's legs preparing for a jump, the dark beady eyes focused on Jack. Suddenly the creature makes a abnormal movement as it's trying to dodge something. Suddenly a arrow goes though the creature's head sticking it to the wall it was on, The legs were still twitching. Jack jerks his head to look at feona.
"that thing was about to jump on me..." jack slowly said his eyes unfocused
"I guess that makes us even, for you saving me at the bar" Feona grinned beautifully. with her light green short bow in hand.
"I hope there's not more of those things" jack said as he searched for the next platform.
"ugh, jack our feet are still stuck"
"hmmm" jack thought looking at his feet, Attempting to move them but they wouldn't bulge.

"ugh, jack our feet are still stuck" feona said
"hmmm" jack thought looking at his feet, Attempting to move them but they wouldn't bulge. Jack pulled out his small dagger, and slide it under his boot, and started jerking his dagger up and down. but the dagger wouldn't so much as move, once exposed to the tarantula's sticky web. Jack pulled himself back up.
"feona you ever hear about spiders this far north?"
"nope, I've heard stories about them at them in the islands though"
"do you know what they use to get out of the spider webs?
Feona thought.
"now that i think about it, they pour water on it"
"okay, hand me your water bag"
Feona throws it.
Jack steadily pours some of the water onto one of his feet, making sure the water goes all around his foot. Then he tries to move his foot.
"it works" jack said happily as he lifted his foot up, he quickly poured some on his other foot and throws the water bag back to feona, feona unsticking herself.
Jack grabbed onto his rope and pulled himself up, and kicked off to the side.
Feona followed, making sure not to step again into the web.
They both lowered themselves down further. They land on a lower platform.
Jack notices the rope is almost out,
"we're out of rope" jack says
"what do we do now?" Feona asks
Jack walks to the edge of the rocky platform, and looks down, "There's a platform about 70 feet down further, but we don't have enough rope" says jack
"we are just gonna head back up" jack says
"we came so far" feona responds
Feona unties the rope from herself, and sits down,
"it's windy down here" feona says
"well let's take a break before we make any big decisions" jack says
Jack unties his rope and sits with his back against the wall .
Jack sat and thought,Finally He took out Hector's book. Jack opens the book and rereads the first page.."nothing..." jack thought. Jack flips the page and it has writing on it. "that's strange" jack thought "i thought this page was blank when i checked it last night."

Jack reads the 2nd page
"I've traveled to the 3rd furthest down platform, it's getting dark. My grappling hook just now broke off on the last swing down. I fear I am stuck down here.
For some odd reason there is a cool current that seems to emitting from the wall it's self. I fear this may be the end of my journey, not even worthy enough to reach the actual god war's dungeon. Luckily, I had found the secret entrance on the 3rd platform. All I had to do was wait for the sun's Rival to make a appearance and bingo your good for one entrance to the god wars dungeon.

"what is that suppose to mean" jack thought..."what does the moon have to do with getting passage to the god's war dungeon" he asked himself
"hey feona, I think you might wanna read this" jack says
Feona reads the book
"so there's some sort of entrance on this rocky platform we are on?" feona asked
"Yes, that's what hector used to get to the dungeon, We need to somehow find the entrance."
Jack looked around the rocky platform there were smooth rocks that made up most of the platform, and the wall with one large rectangle section of it darker colored then the rest. Jack walked up to the discolored door shaped part of the wall, and put his hand on it.
"that's weird, I can feel a air current coming though, I think this might be the entrance."
Feona gets up and puts her hand on it.
"I can feel it too, but how do we open it?" feona says
Jack pulls out his staff and lightly taps it on the stone and it produces a hollow sound.
"so this is the entrance..." Jack eyes narrowed as he thought how to get pass the stone wall
"Feona, I'm gonna blast with it with ice."
feona steps back
"Ice Burst!" jack yells, as ice spring from his palm and hit the wall at a considerable force.
The Ice smashes against the wall and pelts them with fragments, jack shields his eyes.
Jack looks at the wall, It looks undamaged
"sorry" jack says apologetically to feona, "i thought it might activate the door or something"

Jack looks at the wall, It looks undamaged
"sorry" jack says apologetically to feona, "i thought it might activate the door or some.."
"hey jack look! the door it's glowing" feona interrupts
The darkly colored door faintly glowed meekly for a second then in the next second It was back to normal, then above the door, a symbol of a moon glowed, with words inscribed under it.
Jack quickly ran up to read it, Inscribed in Old Gothic cursive, "Enter at shine, or the critters will cry" Jack looked up at the full moon carved into the stone, Looking for anymore information. The words and the moon slowly faded out.
feona was beside him and had read it too.
"what do you make of it" feona asked
"It's very strange..., I think it's a enchanted door, that's why it glowed when struck with magic, It works by sucking the energy from the spell, and using it to fuel whatever enchantment the caster put on it, We use to have these doors in Zaro's dungeon, to keep secret sections hidden" jack said
"so how did you open you open the doors?" feona said
"well, in Zaro's dungeon, the enchanted doors most of them could only be opened by zaro's himself, He enchanted the doors so that only his master staff could open them, all zaro's had to do was tap on the doors with his staff and they would open. The problem is that the enchanter can choose to make the door virtually impossible to open, All the enchanter has to do is make the door only open for himself, then no one else in the world can open that door." jack knowingly said
"why, would anyone want to do that?" feona asked
"to keep a secret i suppose." jack said
Jack sat down and looked up, The first stars were beginning to come out as night dawned
"the stars are coming out" Jack thought
"oh, wow look, we can see the stars from here" feona said as she gazed up.
Feona still standing up says
"I guess we'll have to climb back up in the mourning, we have no idea how to activate enchanted door."

"oh, wow look, we can see the stars from here" feona said as she gazed up.
Feona still standing up, says
"I guess we'll have to climb back up in the mourning, since we can't open that door., maybe once we get back, we could research it." feona said
"oh look the moon is coming out..." feona says under her breathe head still up to the stars
Jack stares at the moon "Enter at Shine or the Critters will cry", "what does that mean?" jack thought.
The sound of a rock hitting the Pit's walls, as it bounces off the wall on it's way down. The adventurers don't notice it.
The creatures lurking in the crevices of the wall, Creatures once normal, cursed with dark magic to prolong there lives indefinably, Only allowed to come out at night, These creatures relished the opportunity to Devour adventurers.
The spiders and imp goblins slowly crawled up towards the voices that disturbed there sleep at day time.
Jack still staring at the stars focused in hard concentration, Suddenly it came to him, "Enter at shine..., Enter at Moon shine!" he shouted in his head
He jerked himself up
"feona, I know how to get in" jack said excitedly
"all we need to do is wait for the moon to shine onto the door"
Feona smiled in excitement
"Then all we need to do is wait for the moon to shine onto the door , right?"
"that is correct" jack said, as he stared at the moon willing it to shine bright.
The moon partly in the clouds shined on the door, but only half of the door disappeared. For only half of the door had light on it,
"Okay" jack tried to say patiently
"we just have to wait until the moon isn't blocked by clouds"

Feona and jack immediately cover there ears in horror of the creature's cry's.
Jack desperately looks around trying to locate the source of the ear piercing sounds, jerks his head to look at feona, She's looking back at him a horrified expression on her face.
Jack looks at the door, it's only partly open, jack quickly looks up at the moon, The clouds are blocking out part of it.
"if those clouds don't clear soon, I don't think There's gonna be anything left of me." jack quickly thought
precious seconds pass tick by
Jack Utters the spell "illuminate!" which when casted generates a good friction of light.
The spell lights up the entire area.
Jack squinting looks at the door, The enchanted door had disappeared, jack quickly runs over to feona, she had her eyes closed and her hands covering her ears, jack grabbed her hand and forced her up, and ran to the door. The spells wares off, and the enchanted door rematerialized.
In the darkness, Jack feels feona shaking and crying. Jack suddenly feels horrible about going to the god war's dungeon, and feels a strong urge to cry himself, but he knows he has to be strong.
The tunnel they are in, is very windy and cold and wet. Jack feels the moist air on his skin, so thick he believes they are in a deep fog.
Jack reaches into his leather bag, and pulls out a small particular looking blue hued glass bottle. He holds it up to his lips and whispers into it "illuminate", The bottle lights up as if there's a little blue firefly inside of it.
Jack holds it up to look around and sees they are indeed in a deep fog, He can hardly see more then 3 feet in front of him.

Jack holds the light up to look around and sees they are indeed in a deep fog, He can hardly see more then 3 feet in front of him, He holds the light to the ground and see's the ground is shiny with moisture, with sleek cave rocks governing the ground.
"hey..." jack says lightly
"you okay feona?"
feona manages to nod her head, her eyes still closed
"feona we're safe now." Feona opens her eyes and looks around still shaky she says
"where are we, jack?"
"I think we're in One of the entrances to the god's war dungeon"
"what do we do now?"
"we need to get to stable ground and make camp for the night, We're in a weird spot right now"
"you think you can manage to walk?" jack asks
"yeah." feona says, trying to smile
Jack and feona continue down the wet slippery tunnel, The tunnel keeps going down further into the earth, after about a hour of journeying down the tunnel, They encounter a steep slope, that has to be climbed down. They slowly climb down it, using there best wits to not slip off the cave rocks. Jack having to cast a fairly strong illuminate spell, to light the area, for he could not hold the bottle of light and climb down at the same time, also feona needed to see.
This went on for 3 more hours, encountering 4 more steep slopes,as they traveled down further into the earth.
Then they started to hear a familiar sound, It sounded like birds chirping, as they progressed further, the sound grew louder.
"That's weird it sounds like birds.." Jack asked
"Maybe it has to be with the rocks" feona said
The sounds of birds chirping grew louder, and they also heard in the mist of this noise, The sound of bugs cricketing and buzzing.
As they progressed down further, The mist began to lighten up, until it was only at there knees, no longer stealing away there line of sight, they began to walk faster and more confident.
The tunnel was evening out, and they were walking now on a almost flat ground, The cave rocks were dwindling out, being replace by brown soil.

The tunnel was evening out, and they were walking now on a almost flat ground, The cave rocks were dwindling out, being replace by brown soil. The sounds of birds and insects were getting louder, They could also hear frogs croaking now, and the sway of plants.
Jack could hear that they were nearing the end of the tunnel, Suddenly jack see's a tree in front of him.
"what's a tree doing here.." jack thought "I thought we were in a cave like system.."
"illuminate!"
The area lights up, Jack see's the area.
The area in front of him is just small bushes and plants, but beyond that he see's a misty forest.
"Where the heck are we" jack asked himself dumbfounded, and wide eyed.
"look at that", Feona said pointing with her right hand
"there's a river to the left"
"that would be a good spot to camp, and refill" jack said
The Adventurers continued walking towards the river, the knee high mist still strong, The moss

The Adventurers continued walking towards the river, the knee high mist covering the entire area, Moss covered the ground, with every step they took, there boots would sink in slightly. The air was riddled with moisture, there faces constantly getting misted.
The river was about 2 meters across, Jack noticed the forest, wasn't like the ones where he had grew up at a kid, The forest had weird plants, Feona called them palm trees, and ferns along with various other plants. Feona told him it was a tropical forest, She also told him, it was weird that it would be so far north from the equator. Jack puzzled as to where she had learned this all, asked her where she learned it, she told him she had visited the tropical islands of karamja to study the iron dragons there with her summoning teacher. Jack slightly impressed and jealous of her experience smiled in response.
Part 9, The underground tropics
"So i suppose we sleep here, against this tree." jack said
"no, we can't sleep there" feona said
"why not" jack asked
"because when you're in the tropical forest such as i believe this is, bugs crawl around at night, along with other animals"
"so what do we do" jack asked
"we set up camp above the ground"
Feona takes our her sleeping blanket, and ties one end around a tree, then ties the other end around a tree nearby. Then she pulls out some water and drinks it.
"hmm" jack said thinking how he was gonna set up his sleeping spot. Not wanting to go though the work of setting up his bed right then, jack pulls out hector's book. Jack flips to page 3 to see if another page had been revealed, Page 3 was there in ink, Suddenly it hit jack, Hector's book was enchanted with a time release spell, that would only reveal it's self as it had been written. So if hector wrote 1 page a day, it would only reveal page 1 on the first day and so on, and the spell would only be activated while inside of the god war's dungeon.
