Dear Diary,

Aaahh yes, the life and times of a wooden wall.

I was born on the 18th of Rune 1109. It was a bright sunny morning, 2 kind barbarians had been putting me into place. I saw tonnes of nails and wooden planks laying on the ground, waiting to be hammered into my hardened body. I was grateful that I was brought to life by the barbarians but life was all not that fun and games for me.

As my days as a wooden wall passed, I saw many things. I saw many players come and go. Some passed, some failed, some succeeded, some died. My only friends were the trees that stood next to the calm, clear river. I think it was known as the "Lumbridge River". Great one, I tell ya'.

Soon over time, I started to get old, my time was coming to an end. I could see it, my wood started loosing it's colour..sometimes I wish if I weren't born at all, sometimes I wish I was to see the wonderous things in life..

Signed,
Your faithful wall,
Barbarian Village Wooden Small Hut Wall.

I've been standing here protecting the city of Falador for many years I may be a little worn around the edges but I defiantly earned every scar!

I think these white knights are decent folks, though they are definitely up to more than they let on. deep dark secrets those are that I help contain...

*Thump* OUCH! what in the name of Guthix was that?!

did that adventurer just shoot me?! Hey what are ya doin'? that Tickles! *HAHA Woo00o* Woah! watch what you're using for footholds! *Chuckles*

Now where was I? Oh yes the White Knights they claim to be Saradominists the truth of the matter is *Thump* Aww man not again! *hahaha*

I've had more than enough of those adventures tickling me one after another, all after what? that silly achievement shield?! Do they realize how important I am, protecting Falador from hordes of goblins, black Knights and numerous critters of a less than savory nature!

I guess I have it better than my brother the west wall of Falador, he has them adventurers passing through him and under him, the least they could do is take off those spiky armors before sliding under him!

Why if they realized how much trouble it was to find these white stones we're built from they may have a little more respect for us, I mean do you know how hard it is to find these stones? have you seen any quarry's' around here?

*knock* *knock* *knock*

*slam* *slam* *slam*

My body had been re-attached again by the gnomes in the battlefield. They were building me again by using the rubble and the stones that were transported hereby those really massive tortieses, I mean seriously..how big can those things grow?.. Anyways, the battle between the gnomes and the khazard troopers have been goin' on for a very long time. There was much bloodshed, much deaths, scattered corpses lying everywhere on the ground.

*shudders*

It was such a horrid view.

During my time as a young-ling, I saw lots of stuff, i've seen NPC's go by, i've seen players come and go and all sorts of em'. I think I saw the legendary DHAROK walk past me once.

Yes, aahh yes, the legend of the six brothers.

Me mom, dad and other fellow surrounding walls used to sing a song about the fall of six. From the stories that the great wall told me, these six were very brave warriors who fought lots of battles until one day when they myseriously just died..some say that it was because of a shrouded stranger than looked upon them from a distant..

Anyways, life as the wall in the rubble has been tough. The newly introduced weaponry called the "cannon" had been sending steel cannonballs at me fellow walls, destroying them..like me..but those hardworking gnomes stop at nothing to build their defences up..

I guess, we are important to them..as we are their only defence..maybe not..

Who knows..

We're just walls.

From your friendly neighbourhood wall,
The wall in the middle of the fight between the gnomes and the troopers.

I am a wall.
People may think of me as an unimportant solid mass, but one person was sitting in front of me. And he was complementing why I was here, and he said:
"I'm glad you're here, wall. If you weren't here then people ould walk far and wide and there would be no city boun-da-ries. So walls are good and you're a good wall. I like walls."

I don't really know why I was put here. Why is there such a need to separate halves of the volcano? Well, it doesn't really matter, I'm here now. In my days I have seen many adventurers come and go. Many pass through my secret entrance, and are never seen again, consumed by the mighty dragon Elvarg, or the beasts in that side tunnel****-Haar I have heard it called. One memory of an adventurer still sticks in my mind...

"Yes! I barely made it out alive, but I defeated the mighty Elv- oh no, demons!" The adventurer sprinted towards me, eyes filled with terror. I barely had time to reveal my secret entrance to him as he burst through, and he collapsed to the floor as a demon bellowed with rage as he was shut on my other side. The adventurer stared up at my gratefully. "It's a good thing you were here. Otherwise I'd be ripped to shreds." He saluted me in the fashion of a knight of Varrock, then broke open a tablet that whisked him away. As he disappeared, I think I managed to flap my secret doorway in farewell. And I think he saw me.

I think these are my last sane thoughts...
Oh, the carnage! I'm going mad from it all! The senseless killing, the pointless violence! All for the prospect of wealth! I saw the first murder of RuneScape, and many more after. Adventurers come in, kill as many people as possible, sometimes are killed themselves, and then leave. Why did I have to be the one to witness it all? Why am I the one to be here? Why not in Falador, or Draynor? But no, I am the one to see heroes in the making slaughtered before their time. For a while the entrances were shut down, that was a happy time. But now, next time you see me(though I hope you never will) I will undoubtedly be totally insane. If you can, try to stop the bloodshed before some other wall shares the same fate.
