Here's a thread of someone with a genius Forinthry digsite idea that I based some of this on: 185-186-157-66152556
And here's a thread where I propose an update to cull griefing to make such a digsite, complete with lore pages, possible: 74-75-148-66158198

Guthix talks of our people's beginnings here often, though this is all I've known. It's crazy to think that only a couple centuries ago my gnomish ancestors stepped through the world gate, and aeons of history preceded for them on the other side. He is sure to remind us all of this often, lest we grow complacent.
Indeed, I am surrounded by stories. My grandfather tells us tales of the plains out west where he grew up, and my mother of the parting tears she witnessed when they decided to explore new land. But nothing compares to the lush forests of this land we live in now. Food is plentiful, and the humans and dwarves we encounter are just as enamored by this place as we are. What a treat to be able to experience this world.

I made a friend today, a dwarf from the next village named Turgar. He’s a very skilled blacksmith—nearly everything in his home is made from some kind of mineral that he mined and smithed himself. It’s very interesting, and such a niche skill. Us gnomes mostly make tools out of wood and clay, which seem to serve us just fine. When I told him this he laughed and said, “but you can’t defend yourself with wood!”
I was a little taken aback by this. Would I ever really be in danger by another person? I mean I guess it’s possible but the world has been at such peace my whole life that it’s just so hard to imagine physical conflict that the community, or god forbid, Guthix himself, couldn’t resolve. Regardless, Turgar is a fun friend to be around. I’m sure his dwarven community has many interesting secrets to discover.
