Hello and welcome to the *Official* Biographies Thread for the Stories Forum.
As originally suggested by Boideverou07, this is where you can post biographies on fictitious characters or those you have created yourself, and you can request for biographies here, too. This is the second coming of the biographies thread, and, thanks to the thumbs-up from those at Jagex, I, Capt, will be taking over and running it from now on.
In addition to the regular biographies being posted, this thread will also hold a catalogue of all characters posted by users, and such a listing will follow this introductory post. Separated by genre submitted and then listed in alphabetical order, biographies should be much more usable than in the former state of “post and find” that was implemented for several years. You can find more information on the new system in the second post.
It is recommended you use the following when formatting your biography. It is, however, not required.

By ‘genre,’ we mean the type of story you feel your character is best placed in. For example, a comedy story, a romance story, a horror story, a mystery story, action-adventure, and so forth. If you do not know a genre that would describe your story well enough, then simply leave this blank.

As always, remember that you cannot exchange cash in turn for biographies, and that not everyone will create a biography on request. Please be courteous to others using this thread.
