“I have met this general before, and he is no weak man. It would take great force to subdue him,” Edlenmin mused.
“Indeed,” the elf agreed, “But even more pressing is the news brought to us by the dwarven miners not an hour ago. They alerted the Dwarven King’s son, Naugrim, that they had heard ‘What was definitely the sound of pickaxes and spades, as well as loud blasts, not five hundred metres off.’ It appears that we are about to be subject to an underground attack.”
“Indeed this news is disturbing,” Maly*tryx said, “By your leave sir, I would go and investigate the general’s room, see if there is not more to be found there.*
*As would I,” Edlenmin added.
“Very well then, I will escort you there personally,” the elf said, gesturing to the door as he did so, “Follow me.”

The general’s chambers were located in the south tower of the castle, quite near to the top. When they reached the entrance to his chambers they were greeted by two solemn looking guards, one standing on either side of the door. “State your name and business here,” the one on the left said dully, obviously bored out of his pants.
“I am Baragûr, of the house of Rawbrannon. These are Edlenmin and Maly*tryx, and they are my guests,” the elf stated clearly and confidently.
“Baragûr we know of, and he has authority to enter, but the other two--” the guard said hesitantly.
“I personally vouch for them, as does the King of Varrock,” Baragûr said and the guard relented. The guard on the right pulled a large bronze skeleton key from his belt and slotted it into the keyhole. Turning it sharply to the right he muttered under his breath “laden,” and the door swung open.
Baragûr entered the room first, followed by the two humans. At first looks the room appeared to be completely normal, but then their eyes were drawn to the unholy symbol of Zamorack lying on the floor and the shattered sword also on the floor.
