Hey Dellanding, I'm just gonna give you a tip.

If you find too many people spamming again....threaten to stop writing the story.

As much as I hate to wait for the next chapter, because it really is a good story, I hate spammers even more. The amount of spam on the previous thread was intolerable.

Just a suggestion, because that might quiet them a bit.

Announcements!

First of all thank you all for the comments and support and for not spamming too badly.

Anyway, all good things must come to an end, and I regret to say that RuneSpace will soon be concluding. I'll finish this chapter and then write two more before the story ends.

The good news is that a new story with more of a horror-mystery feel to it will be coming out shortly before RuneSpace ends (just in time for Halloween.) Anyway, a preview of the new story's teaser introduction:

Jason's truck roared down the empty road, the creature close behind. Jason grabbed the side mirror and turned it to get a better look at whatever it was. No flesh covered its blue-white bones. Massive skeletal wings beat regularly, not even struggling to keep up with the truck. Its eyes glowed from a dragon-like skull.

The monster sped up, coming beside the vehicle. Suddenly a spike on the creature's bony tail burst through the side of the truck behind Jason's head, tearing through the metal like tin foil.

The beast dropped back a little and Jason could no longer see it. Jason's heart raced. Terrible as it was, he preferred seeing the thing that had chased him from the peninsula to having no idea where it was.

The air suddenly became very cold and water vapor condensed then froze throughout the car. The engine came to a grinding halt as the gas would no longer ignite.

"This can't be happening," Jason Gower thought, reaching for Max's gun and unlocking the door. "To think, this all started with that funeral two weeks ago..."
