I've been speaking the author again, and they would like the story to stay here, but re-posted with due credit.
Perhaps once this is all over.
It is a very nice piece, and a good example of a well-written story, so I thought that would be a good idea.

Oh, and will you be entering the FunOrb story comp? I'm writing my entry now. :)

I see. Well, I already submitted a request for it to be hidden.
Also, unless Paccehh wants to edit it and give due credit, it might be best for me to simply re-post it and put it in the index with the credit given.
Let me know if the Author has any specific opinion about that.

Here's the deal, your story is simply too long. In light of this, rather than disqualifying you, I will do the same thing I did for ITIalevolent, which is to remove points for any errors found in the area which exceeds the limit. These point removals are 100% at my discretion.
If you would rather be disqualified, notify me before the results are released.
As for the liberties you took with the theme, I didn't have anything innately against them - though points may be reducted if I find that it went too far at any given point (this choice will be made when the grading happens - something I have yet to give a deadline for, sadly).
Anyways, I just wanted to notify you as to the state of your story in the qualifiers list, because it is rather unique.

I saw that story competition on Funorb. Why did they leave us Runescapers in the dark with the story competition. I'm writing my story now. :) Good Luck to all who are entering it.
