Chapter Ten
Rebirth and Death (continued)

Tyron abruptly stood up, forgetting all about the pain in his head and hand, and dashed for the treehouse door, making the whole shoddy structure shake dangerously.
"Tyron, no, you're imagining thi--" the words died on her lips as she looked through the hole Tyron had punched in the wall. Willow stood in the shade of the trees.

Willow saw Tyron practically leap down from the tree and run toward her. Tears of relief flooded her eyes. "Tyron! Oh, Guthix, I thought you were dead!"
Tyron reached her and swept her up in his arms, holding her against him as if he would never let go. Finally he pulled back and looked into her eyes. A look of confusion crossed his face.
"What is it?" said Willow, worried. Tyron shook his head. "It was a trick of the light. Your eyes looked silver for a moment." He laughed. Willow did too.
After his laughter died down, Tyron looked at her again. "You look... Different." He said, the confused look returning.
"Different good, or different bad?" she said, only half joking.
"I'm not sure..." said Tyron thoughtfully. "But I have you with me, and you're alive, and that's all that matters."
She smiled, feeling safe and happy for a moment.
"Willow!" called a voice from by Caltha's tree. Jessica sprinted toward her. "Drakos--he--oh Guthix, Willow, I tried to stop him, but oh--"
"What?! What happened?!" said Willow, her happy demeanor gone now. Jessica looked to be on the verge of tears.
"Drakos... He took Caltha!"
Willow detatched herself from Tyron. She spoke only one word, her voice dangerously quiet.
"Where?"
"He flew in the direction of Ice Mountain--" Jessica began, but was cut off as Willow turned and began running as fast as she could toward the mountain looming over the forest.
Tyron swore and took off after her.
"Chazz! Iolous! Termac! Ace! Come on, quickly!" she called, then turned and ran with the others to where Drakos would be waiting.
