Kunigas nodded, “Alright, maybe if anyone should make an alliance with these goblins, it should be someone with experience in such matters, I will speak with the council” Kunigas said, before taking a bite of the cave clucker leg, and then downing an entire helping of mashed potatoes within five seconds of it being served by another chef. “You know, mister chef,” Kunigas began “Isn’t the job of serving more in line for a butler?” Kunigas asked. The chef gave him another helping of mashed potatoes. “

What’s a butler?” The Goblin asked. “Some chefs serve the food. Other chefs prepare it” He continued. “You possess no butlers?” Belar asked. “They are server, chef, and chief servant of a household.” She continued. The chef began thinking about similar positions. “We possess nothing similar in our culture, often one chef cooks, and another serves, and the job of chief household servant goes to another goblin altogether.” The goblin chef informed her. “Excuse me,” he said, going off to serve a goblin councilor’s servant.

While everything was going on around her, Belar had an idea, “Annie, remember those pyromancy spell tomes I gave you?” She asked. “Perhaps now is as good of a time as any to learn another spell, may I suggest Wall of Flame? Perfect for a situation with chokepoints. At some point you will be going back into the forest again.” Belar said.
Annie:
You learned Firebomb spell last time, as a reminder, your other options are

1) Wall of Flame (Which I highly recommend for later)
2) Aegis of Flame (Also a great option)
3) Lantern (Great for dungeon exploring)


- Aegis of flame is a whirlwind of fire and air that will burn, or blow away arrows and other projectiles, and make it hard for vampire fighters to hit you, as well as damage them. It’s mostly a defensive spell.

- Wall of Flame is great for creating a single chokepoint of fire that can immolate groups of vampires, or force them to go around, thus wasting their time in trying to catch you. Just your friendly neighborhood gay boy!

- The Lantern Spell is great for dungeon exploration, as it lights up immediate surroundings. Old Sudovian forts still hold great treasure as-of-yet undiscovered. They will be unlocked to you the next time you set foot outside the cathedral. Just your friendly neighborhood gay boy!

Malus:

Scarlet and Malus waded through the fetid-smelling sewers to the reinforced door that Scarlet mentioned. One rat gnawed at Scarlet’s red leather boot, Scarlet managed to kick the rat off of him and send it flying into a wall in the far corner. Other rats scurried away from Malus as he followed. Scarlet hid in a darkened alcove which concealed him. he took out his crossbow and loaded it with a bolt. In a darkened alcove, he waited.

The door in question was a thick door made out of heavily reinforced steel. It was akin to what one would expect of an entrance to a bank vault, and the smell of death was so eminent that both Scarlet and Malus could smell it from outside the door. Skeletons of dead victims were strewn outside the hideout like discarded trash. One skeleton was that of a human child. The sight of it didn’t even bother Scarlet.

“Now, we wait,” Scarlet said. “In the dark, the beasts won’t expect us lurking.” Just your friendly neighborhood gay boy!

Rina wanted revenge. Georgy’s ((Extremely canon)) death pit Rina against Sakura. Rina, holding her Umbrium karabela saber, withdrew from her other scabbard her second other saber made from the same black metal. She entered a defensive posture. “Attack if you dare, Mortal! Belar looked at the books “I would not test these spells here, but theoretically speaking, Wall of flames requires one to focus on their inner emotions. In terms of magic, one’s anger powers their pyromancy. To conjure a wall of flames, think of what makes you most angry and project that rage into your mana. Your emotions influence your spells. Whereas compassion suits a healer most, contempt, anger, and hate, power a war mage’s talents. Interestingly, the desire emotion powers necromancy spells. Such as the desire to be near the dead, to touch the dead. Vyras must have been very intimate with the dead to grow into his talents, but he would never admit it.” Belar said “Neither is he the psychopath his grandfather was.” She concluded.

Belar looked at the Aegis of Flame book “Quite simple this one, think of whom you want to protect so much that the thought of losing them may make you angry, then channel that into your spell. Who do you want to protect the most, Annie?” Belar asked. Just your friendly neighborhood gay boy!

Kunigas it seemed was chatting amiably with the goblin council. Kunigas winked, smiled, cajoled until finally a deal had been struck, Kunigas shaked each of the goblins’ hands, and made promises to speak with Lensa about the alliance that had been brokered. However, the wise woman seemed to be having a headache. She also seemed lost in thought Until finally she screamed.

Everyone jumped out of their seats, when she shrieked, to attend to the wise woman, was she hurt? Was she in pain? These were questions on everyone’s mind. Immediately a circle began gathering around the wise woman who seemed to be elsewhere mentally. Kunigas nearly jumped out of his skin and enwreathed his hands in yellow holy energy. He was prepared to heal if need be. Belar also jumped out of her seat when she heard the shriek. Curiosity demanded that she find out why the wise woman was acting this way.
