1) Aegis of flame: Useful for defending one's self against a single opponent, or multiple, though inaccurate as an offensive tome. Summons a protective shield of fire around one's that damages enemies that get too close, even if it is inconsistent on when it deals damage.

2) Wall of Flames: Allows one to set an area alight with magical flame. Useful for situations when you need to create a chokepoint, more consistent with damage than the Aegis of flame, but it gives less protection.

3) Firebomb: Self-explanatory, but it creates a magical explosive that detonates in a five second timer, perfect for demolition work, or blasting an entrance

4) Lantern: Creates a wisp of fire that illuminates the area around the caster, useful for seeing at night, though it alerts all enemies that can see it. Use at your peril. Just your friendly neighborhood gay boy!

Annie:

Belar smiled at Annie. " Nice to, um, meet you, Annie. I'm sorry if I frightened you. You aren't mad, are you? Vyras would have come himself if Kunigas would let him," Belar said after she met Annie. She opened the book on the table.

"First, the basics, Annie: A magical tome is a spell-book. A mage writes their spell books with their own blood. The blood of a pyromancer, or fire mage, would be required to write a fire spell, a water spell would require the blood of a water mage, or a hydromancer. Based on the pattern established, an earth spell would require the blood of what type of mage to write? Do you follow? If not, I'm sorry, I'm such a failure of a teacher!" Belar began, before berating herself. She worked herself into such a panic that Tom had to calm her down.

" Calm down, Belar," Tom began, "She isn't going to berate your teaching ability. In fact, I think you are doing a good job, right, Annie?" Tom asked his daughter. Just your friendly neighborhood gay boy!

Belar calmed down slightly. Tom's reasoning allayed her fears somewhat. She regained composure and spoke.

"I recall the attack on your village, I wasn't made nervous by your getting defensive, when I do anything wrong, or when something goes wrong, the other fighters blame the only drow in the hideout: Me. Someone dies in the field? 'Blame Belar, that drow is obviously a vampire spy!' according to their logic. A Shipment of supplies goes missing? 'Blame Belar, she's a walking bad luck charm.' Vyras and Kunigas are some of the only people besides your father that have any respect for me. Regardless of my ability, they treat me like an outsider. Moving on, and sadly, Vyras never knew any nature magic, so he never had any nature tomes. I'd perhaps ask Brinblemir when he wakes up. He might know someone among the elves who could teach you.

Belar got back to her lesson, "You didn't answer my question on what type of blood would be required to write an earth spell, I want to know if you are getting what I am telling you before I move on. Just your friendly neighborhood gay boy!

Balar nodded, "Excellent All spells are written in ancient Sudovian. Each spell has three components to them, three runes. For this spell we must imagine the components for making a bomb. A flame, a shell for the bomb, and a fuse. Three components, three runes."

She said with a coy smile on her face, "we're going to need more room for practice. Let's not practice a dangerous spell in your father's room. Follow me to the practice room." she said invitingly

Tom, who was nervous about the possibility of his room being used as a practice room for the bomb spell, exhaled. Apparently, he was relieved that his abode was safe. " I appreciate you not using my room for bombing practice." he said smiling

Belar opened the door and exited the room. As she opened the door, she came across a figure that made her skin crawl. He was a handsome lad, he had black hair, wore a black leather cuirass, black leather greaves, and black leather bracers, and leather boots of decent quality, he also had a bow on his back and some silver arrows in a round quiver on his back. His features were quite boyish; there was not a speck of facial hair and he at the very least kept clean, unlike the many rugged Naktian fighters that Belar knew. He wore a necklace of vampire fangs which adorned the necklace all around its circumference. The only feature that made him intimidating was the garish claw-mark scar on his chin that made its way down his neck, and for whatever reason, his eyes reminded Belar of a predator stalking prey.
“W-What are you doing here, Darius Saugokis?” Belar asked, shuddering at the sight of one of her bullies, but also barely containing her fury.

“Checking to make sure you aren’t going to hurt Tom. It’s obvious that you’re a spy,” Darius responded. “Belar scowled at him. “R-Really, and where’s your proof? If you make enough noise, perhaps Vyras will have a word with you. Do you really want to disrespect the daughter of the man who is literally going to retire tomorrow evening?” she asked. “He’s not aware of your true purpose here though, is he? He sees you as a way to redeem himself of his oldest sin, unaware that he has let a rat into the hideout. Senile. I respect the old man, very few of us live long enough to retire, retirement comes suddenly and violently, but he needs to know that he cannot put us all in danger just to reach salvation in the afterlife.” Darius said. Using the word "Senile" made Belar nearly ready to stab Darius. Just your friendly neighborhood gay boy!
