I'm terribly sorry for waiting, my computer got really messed up(aka crashed) so I had to get a new one, I'll start typing as soon as I can. (Once Tropical Storm Hanna passes).

I apologize, very much so. Also, thank you guys so much for keeping my thread from dying. It means a lot to me.

==+ Chapter 9: One Step Forward +== (Talk chapter here we come!)

Dante walks back into the main room, everyone looks at him strangely. "Dante, what did you see?" Stephanie asked. "N-Nothing. I thought I saw an enemy or something." Dante replied. Ivan dashes into the main room with a panicked look on his face.

"Guys! Something bad has happened! The Staff of Alrous is gone!" Ivan shouted.

"W-What!?" Reid shuddered

"We've got to look for it now! The safety of life depends on it!" Frederick said

Everyone scatters around the castle to search for the staff. Hours pass, but still nothing. Everyone fears the worst, thinking that a Zamorak warrior sneaked into the castle and took the staff.

"Did anyone find anything? Dante asked.

"No, seems like the worst has been confirmed." Seperadith replied

"Darn it."

"No need for a panic....I know where the staff lays." A voice said to Dante.

"Who's there!?" Dante shouted

"Dante? Is something wrong?" Stephanie asked

"Well, it'll tell you if you accepted your destiny, Dante Bellerophon."

"What destiny? Tell me who you are!?"

The strange orange being appears in-front of Dante, behind Stephanie. Time freezes

"I am the Staff of Alrous itself."

"So that makes you.....Alrous?"

"Correct. I am Alrous, guardian of the Staff of Alrous."

"Alright, what do you want with me?"

"You must accept your true destiny Dante."

"My true destiny?"

"Yes, however it does not continue going on with your team anymore. You must leave this army."

"What? Why?"

"To follow your destiny, you must join my army. A hidden army in the north."

"I can't betray my own army. Are you kidding?"

"If you do not, the world shall be destroyed."

"Why do I have to-"

"You are the key to victory Dante. But you won't grab victory here."

"How can I trust you?"

"We're not enemies Dante, we're allies."

"..."

"I understand your upset but you must face destiny. The fate of the world depends on it."

"What do I get in exchange?"

"Memories Dante. You'll know anything there is to know about your past."

"...Give a few days to think about it."

"That's a fair request. I shall give you two days to think."

Alrous disappears, time is restored back to normal. "Dante? Are you okay?" Frederick asked. "Yeah, just leave me alone for a few hours." Dante said. He walks into his room, opens his door and shuts it behind him. He sits down on his bed and looks out his window, the morning sky is covered in round, puffy clouds. Dante sighs and crosses his arms behind his head and lays down in his bed. "Where do I go from here?" Dante asked himself.
