The Stories forum currently has one clan/friends chat run by Dreamweaver. Anyone is free to join it at any time by entering the channel "Dreamweaver" in the friends chat menu in RuneScape. This chat is called "The Word" and can optionally be joined as a clan.

Q: What is allowed in the Stories Forum?

A: Stories must be fictional and creative. It doesn't matter whether a piece is related to RuneScape or not, but you can't post "true stories" in this section. Also, a decent level of creativity must be employed. You can't post one-liners, for instance.

You will need to follow forum rules, though. Stories should not contain anything vulgar or insulting (towards people, not your own fictional characters). Illegal drugs shouldn't be in your stories, nor should law violations be encouraged. Just use your common sense in this regard.

Q: Is Romance allowed?

A: Yes, so long as it is not graphic. This romance may be of either orientation, so long as the story's content does not discriminate against a particular orientation.

Q: How violent can stories be?

A: Just use your common sense. A story which is extremely horrifying might be removed, but for the most part, this should not be a problem.

Q: Can I post fanfiction?

A: Yes, but you may not post fanfiction using intellectual property (ideas, trademarks, etc) from franchises which Jagex does not own. If you're interested in writing and publishing a real RuneScape book, then contact copyright@jagex.***.
