50 feet around the darkness was squealing with happiness, about to reap it’s vengeance for its fallen mother. I was slowly dragged foot by foot towards the sizable entity. It swirled like a black hole waiting to devour me. I looked around desperately looking for something to grab but to no avail!
I was closing in on it fast, getting speed as I was getting closer. Arma was eager for my blood I guess. Or the spoon I have in my pocket. Whichever one, he’s not having!! I was only feet from it now. My shoulders drooped in defeat as I was dragged along the ground, waiting for death to overtake me. I closed my eyes and waited for the inevitable.
A voice boomed “That’s enough.” A green slash appeared and severed the black cord. I was then raised and brought up into the air and everything started slowly fading to white as I listened to the wails of furious depression.
I jolt up with my sword drawn. I was breathing deeply and sweating. I looked around confused. A healer lay on the floor in two pieces cut across the waist. I looked up to see Amy standing a bit further. I looked at her questionably. “You woke up and swung your sword. He was in the wrong place at the wrong time.” I shrugged. *I don’t know what you’re talking about. Nothing happened.” I use my foot to slowly drag the body under the bed. “No one will ever know.” I giggled. She just shook her head. Probably in agreement!
I looked over and to my surprise Guthix in human form was sitting in a chair. I immediately diverted my eyes. “S-sir what are you doing here?” I asked, taken back. He chuckled like a grandpa to a grandchild. “You needed protection. My daughter was stronger than I had imagined. She summoned the ability to take the soul of anyone who killed her. You were sent to a different dimension, guarded by her daughter. It’s such a vast expanse of nothingness that it took me all morning to find you, and more power than I’ve exerted in 2 thousand years to bring you back.”

I looked at him. “…Tight.” I said lamely. Come on what else could I say!? This is freaking Guthix I’m talking to!!
I shrugged and sat at the edge of my bed and rubbed my eyes. “Why was Armadyl there?”
Guthix looked at me hollowly. “That was Saradomin’s mind. When she was alive it was where she kept her daughter safe. Now that she’s dead it’s turned into an abyss of nothingness, trapping her daughter to an eternity of nothing.” We all looked down for a moment of silence.
“Can she escape?” Amy asked. Guthix shrugs. “It is possible.” He said without emotion. We all knew what that meant. She wasn’t going anywhere.
I tried to stand but couldn’t support my own weight and collapsed back onto the bed painfully. Amy moved to help me. She sat down on the edge of my bed and comforted me as I tried to lay as still as I could. Then my nose itched. I ignored it at first, but then the urge started growing, until the torture was too much and I reached up and scratched it. Pain exploded my torso. “Totally worth it.” I gasped through tears.
I fell back asleep after that. I was so drained of energy that I slept for nearly 8 more hours, waking near sunset. I was able to slowly sit up like I did before. So far so good. I stretched my legs out over the bed and planted them on the ground. Good, they past the first test: they did*’t turn into dust or my threshold for pain. I stood up rigidly, most of my body screaming in protest from the bruises Saradomin left me.
I slowly, with Amy’s help, walked out of the tent from where I was being kept. We were back on the battle field where a few make-shift medical tents had been raised. Something was off about the place. At first I couldn’t put my finger on it. The people who walked around seemed happier, like a natural uplifting of spirits. The plants around us seemed more alive and vibrant. Then I realized why.

The sun was out. I can’t believe I did*’t realize it as soon as I woke up the first time. It was so bright in the tent I should have realized something was up!
My generals were waiting for me outside. They were talking in a close-knit circle not knowing of my presence. Among them were the members of my gang. It was Yoshi who spotted me first. Now a normal person would simply announce my name so the others know of my presence. But come on… We all know Yoshi.
“NOOOOOBB!!* Yoshi boomed and took off at full speed to me. He tackled me to the ground. Amy cringed nearby helpless to stop it. I was on the ground, wanting my body to shut down from pain, when Yoshi undid the embrace. “I’m glad to see you’re alright buddy ol chum ol pal ‘o mine!” I brought up a shaky smile.
“Get off me Yoshi.” I said through clenched teeth. He looked me up and down. “OHHH! RIGHT! The pain thing!” Yoshi chirped and immediately got off and helped me up, dusting me off. Although I thought I was going to pass out, I continued on trying to act tough. My generals have already turned to me. Blue stepped forward. “Noob,” started he unusually, not calling me king, “we must discuss what is to happen with Runescape.”
I looked around with a quizzical look. “What do you mean?” I asked. He approached me. “Runescape as you know it is no more. All the towns are gone, and all the people you knew are dead, spare an unlucky few. The civilizations haven’t worked together in decades. Most of the farms have long been since destroyed.”
People start gathering around us. At first just a few of each clan who just happened to be walking by, wanting to see what the commotion was about. Then as those numbers grew, the buzz of the situation increased as everyone’s eyes were on me, a few people murmuring to each other.
“The capitals of old are worn and crumbling. The very landscape is different: forests have grown in nearly all the major cities. New mountains have been pushed up,

and rivers flow in a more connected way.”
A small crowd was forming at this point, enough to encompass the area around me and my generals. Some pointed at me and whispered to the person standing next to them. Some called outside the circle to invite friends in the distance to come join them.
Blue reached up and grasped nothing. He closed his eyes and tears poured out. I soon realize they were out of pain. “Sunlight.” He quivered. “I’m never seen something so painful this beautiful. We have grown to be partly nocturnal, but this opens up new possibilities for us, new opportunities. Many of us have never seen direct sunlight, contempt with the obscure, hazy existence that we were enslaved to.”
A few nods from the audience. A few woops of agreement and “yahhs” and claps here and there. I don’t know how many people surrounded us because I was focused on Blue. I’d say around a hundred judging by the sound.
“We have been given a second chance!” Blue roared to be heard above the crowd. Everyone shushed up a bit, but there was still a bit of noise. “We have been reborn! A chance to redeem ourselves in the eyes of Zamorak, for it was us who betrayed him!”
He took a pause. All eyes were on him as he circled around, looking all in the eye. “My friends: we have been destroyed. But from those ashes we shall rise stronger than ever! I don’t see warriors here before me. But brothers! Builders of the future! Creators of destiny! We will bring this back. We needed to be broken up to be healed back together. We are all one now. One people. And as one people, let us build our new home!”

The crowd threw their fists in the air and erupted with applause. I look around dumbfounded, head swirling. Could this all be happening? The thing I’ve dreamt of from the beginning? A world order?
Blue approached me, but I did*’t notice at the time because I was out of it. He put a hand on my shoulder, and as the crowd looked on and cheered, he gave me gentle smile. “Let’s get started sire.
I did what any great leader would do in my position. Starred at him bluntly, fell to my knees, bent over, puked, then blacked out.

DAY ONE-HUNDRED -An End, A New Beginning-
“Wo0t! Finally off that pointless island! Saying I can't take care of myself? Who do they think they are!? Oh suuuure, they did teach me about mining.... and a trick or two about combat.......and how to make some money..... and......oh all right they taught me everything
I know about the game! There!
Happy? Sheeesh!”
I reread my own diaries. Why not? Things are happening so fast, it’s hard to imagine my journey started only a little more than 3 months ago. I mean, who else but ME could accomplish so much in that time period? If you guessed me, then give yourself a pat on the back. If you did*’t guess me, follow the following instructions:
1. Load your crossbow with the most pointy, painful arrow tip possible.
2. Aim the crossbow (careful not to misfire) at your big toe.
3. Pull the trigger.
4. Repeat for all toes. When done with toes, it’s optional (but suggested!) you continue on to your fingers.
5. Roll off a cliff.
Okay, now that our first order of business is done *checks that off the list*, we can continue on. I woke up later the next day, after the sun had passed midway across the sky. I had a dream that night of my battle with Saradomin. Only I was in my underwear. It was terrrible! After I woke up, I sat up in bed and rubbed my eyes. I peered over to see Amy was in the bed with me and I spazzed out and fell out of bed. The thud make her wake up.
“Noob! Are you okay?” She asked, then giggled. I groaned in response. “What’s going on?” I asked.
“I just wanted to make sure you were comfortable..” She said and blushed. “But listen, we’ve got to get moving, there’s so much to do!” She rushed me up as I slouched groggily. She started explaining. “We have to meet with the generals, create a new plan, get supplies, gather the people, write new doctrines, build hospitals, schools, and new homes! we basically have to build a new future!” I was listening with mild interest as she rushed me out the door.

I finally grabbed her and put my finger to her lips and chuckled. “Amy stop.” I smiled. “That all is what we have to do, but we don’t have to do that today. Today is a day of celebration!” I looked over her shoulder and noticed on a distant hill something blowing in the wind. I looked back at her. “Hey, I’m going to see someone. Gather the gang will you? Tell them to meet me on that hill.” She looked at me with a weird look, then towards the hill. She nodded, gave me a kiss on the cheek, and scurried off. I watched her as she left. Once I was sure she was gone…
OMG!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I’M SO LUCKY (UHH I MEAN AWESOME)!!!!! I’M THE GREATEST PERSON WHO EVER LIVED!!! I GOT A HAWT GIRLFRIEND AND I’M THE KING!!!!!!!!!!!! SUCK ON THAT EVERYBODY BACK IN MY TIME!!
I skipped to the hill.. Okay I don’t like that word choice. I STRODE to the hill. It only took about a minute to reach the base of the hill as I began to climb. As I neared the top, a single red feather flew past me and hovered in my face for a moment before drifting to the ground. I picked it up and studied it closely. I then removed it from my gaze and the land where it had be blocking, about 5 feet away stood a man.
It was a man who appeared to be about 40, with short, shaggy black hair and a now-neatly trimmed beard. He wore a red and black robes and in his hand, a simple wooden walking staff. He looked at me with a tired smile. I smiled back at him and handed him the feather. “Hello my friend.” The man said, taking the feather, which instantly turned into smoke.
“Hey Zamorak. You’re looking better.” I replied. He nodded. “All thanks you to, Noob.” he approached me. “I will admit, I had my doubts at times… well pretty much until you rescued me… Okay, nobody ever even had the slightest faith in you, but against all odds, you proved us all wrong.”
