The rest of the day was spent loading all the supplies needed to build a storehouse in Rellekka, lumber, nails and fittings were loaded by the Suqah under the watchful eyes of Bomber, not that he didn’t trust them but they were after all massive creatures and a little heavy handed.
I fussed over the kitchen, storing pots, pans, knives, forks, spoons, bowls for the men and women to travel with the caravan, then he scratched his head as to how to deal with the Suqah sized versions of those utensils. The Suqah rubbed his arm, veins still throbbing but no damage done, grabbed the bundle again and with a careful flick gathered the blankets Spelsa was still wrapped in into another bundle and slung her over his shoulder and nearly ran to the courtyard where everyone was waiting for her.
Nexitum, Ecentrah, Evig Faith, Bomber, myself, Kia Kaha and four of the biggest Suqah were waiting by the caravan with Ryou in the driver’s seat, Unbreakable in the seat at the back with an ale in his hand and a smile on his face. The yaks were snorting and shuffling in the harness ready to go, as Spelsa was dumped out of her covers onto the ground near the caravan,
