After pausing for only a second to think, he looks up with a crooked smile and asks, "What kind of work?"

Bomber and his mighty Ironmen gather all the items that they are able to carry and then round up about 50 Suqah. They begin their march to the boat back to Rellekka. Captain Bently was shocked when the massive Suqah climbed onto the ship with heads bowed down in submission. Bomber talked with Captain Bently and offered him the use of the mighty Suqah for the voyage to tend the ropes of the ship thus giving the sailors a well deserved rest. The ship docked at Rellekka and a few gasps of surprise were heard from the townsfolk as the mighty group left the docks.

The run back to Camelot begins as a fast paced race until Axax spots a gathering of his new favorite food and calls a halt to the return home. Bomber tells the Suqah to catch the unicorns. When each of them are holding firm to a squirming unicorn under each arm, and Axax with one in his arms, plus an additional two baby unicorns stuffed into a sack slung over his back, the march begins again. The men move quickly, seemingly unburdened by even the additional weight of their new load.

The Master Gardener and his men slip back into the grounds of the castle and let the unicorns roam the gardens freely. The Suqah find quarters in a few of the stables and barns scattered around the grounds. Unbeknownst to the residents of the castle of their adventure, the Ironmen melt back into the gardens, tending them as if they had never left. Bomber makes his way to report to the King of the lightning raid, the newly acquired Suqah workers, and the possible new land transport in the form of the Unicorns!

The castle and it's occupants go through the daily routine of upkeep and maintenance of the grounds, tending of the new herd of unicorns, and carefully watching the new workers that Bomber had doing all the heavy work. No one noticed a man walk into the gates and down the path to the courtyard of the castle.

The man was dressed in fine jet black silk clothing that had a strange ever changing color pattern.

Meanwhile in her chambers, Queen Lorry struggled with the keen loss of one of her guards as she thought about the monument Bomber and his Suquhs were building. Her thoughts then turned to her chief guard, Nexitum. Nexitum had taken a month of rest and relaxation in the wilderness of all places! Queen Lorry looked to a cage holding a hawk. Haukka, the familiar of Nexitum, preened it's jet black feathers before stopping to peer at the queen. She opened the door of it's cage and commanded, "Find your master and bring him home." Haukka flew straight for the open window and out of sight in an instance. Unknown to the queen, the hawk's destination was merely just around the corner of the castle. As Haukka flew past Ecentrah's window on swift and mighty wings, Ecentrah glanced up. Stirred from her musings, she crossed to her window, curious about the destination of the hawk. Peering out, she noticed the man dressed in the strange black outfit, and watched as Haukka flew straight to the man dressed in black, landing on his left shoulder and nuzzling the man's ear.

A bird of prey showing such affection didn't go unnoticed by Ecentrah. "That could be only one man," she screamed and quickly grabbed her bow and three arrows, "Nexitum has returned to the castle!" The hawk startled by the scream flew straight back to the castle.

Ecentrah scribbled two notes and tied them to two of her arrows. Taking careful aim with her bow, she fired the two noted arrows, as well as the third, at the man dressed in black. Silent, straight, and swift, the arrows flew towards his unprotected back. Just before they found their mark, the man spun catching one arrow in each of his hands and the third in his teeth. He chuckled while spitting out the arrow he caught with his teeth while taking notice of the notes attached to the arrows in his hands. Carefully he removed the notes and read them.

The first read, "Welcome home, Nexi" while the other stated, "I missed you, and, as always, so did my arrows."

Nexitum wandered over to Bomber, who had been an audience to the display. Grinning and shaking his head, Bomber said, "Well met, Nexitum." Raising an eyebrow, Nexitum replied with a question, "Suqah?" Bomber nodded, "Aye. Are they not fine and strong workers?" Laughing, the two men shook hands and gave each other a hearty slap on the back before Nexitum spun on his heels and ran towards the castle.

Meanwhile, Ecentrah had ran from her room towards Queen Lorry's chambers and banged so loudly on her doors that they shook, dislodging a cloud of dust that slowly fell to the ground.

Queen Lorry jerked open the door, ready to scold the person beyond it for the noise and dust. Almost simultaneously, she took notice of an excited, Ecentrah and saw a flash in the corner of her eye as Haukka reentered his cage and rang a bell furiously. Queen Lorry praised the bird for being so fast and knew the ringing of the bell was a sign that Nexitum had returned to Camelot. Ecentrah confirmed this, and they both ran for the stairs and the entry hall of the castle. It was a very undignified run indeed, as both were pushing each other in the rush to be first to greet the Chief Guard home.

With all the noise Ecentrah and Queen Lorry were making, excitement spread like wildfire throughout the castle as the occupants all made their way to the entry hall. Cheers erupted when Nexitum walked through the door and everyone spoke at once calling out greetings to the Chief Guard. Queen Lorry had the right of the first true words to her beloved Guard so with a raise of her hand the crowd fell silent. She solemnly told him of the loss of Firemakers, and the work Bomber and his Suqah were doing to construct a mighty monument. Following a moment of silence for their fallen comrade, Queen Lorry called for an early lunch to be made ready.

She knew Nexitum's tales from his holiday in the wilderness were going to be entertaining, and would be just what her people needed to lift the melancholy cloud that had been hanging over the castle.

The following day, Nexitum's mind struggled to deal with his conflicting emotions, the happiness he felt upon his return home and yet his heart was heavy from the loss of one of his men. How was he to inspire both sets of guards? How could he return both the King's Dames and Queen's Knights into the fighting force they were before the great loss? With a plan forming in his mind, he knew that he needed to first see the weapon master.

Nexitum walked to Tonkad's workshop, that also served as his quarters. Tonkad had retired from the day to day military duties to perfect his craft of weapon making. A master of all things metal, and otherwise, he also fixed everything within the castle. Leaning against the doorway, Nexitum admired what he saw. Rows and rows of weapons of every description filled shelves and hung on racks. All were polished and deadly. Nexitum wandered further through the area, following the sound of the steady ringing of a hammer on metal. The heat of this room made him wish he had changed clothes for the visit.

As Nexitum entered the room, he took note of Jura Mist watching Tonkad repair a shield with great care and skill. It was Jura's damaged shield from the chaotic battle with the Suqah on Lunar Island. The shield was one of the largest he had ever seen and very few would have been able to use it two handed, let alone in a single hand. Jura was one of he strongest men Nexitum had ever met.

As Jura admired Tonkad's repairs, he held his sword in his other hand.

Nexitum blinked, if he was seeing correctly, it was a sword meant to be wielded with two hands. Jura took up his repaired shield, moving like both sword and shield were made of paper. Graceful and deadly, the sword moved through the air. Jura's muscles bulged and rippled as he almost appeared to dance. Jura turned to Tonkad and said, "Fine work as always my old friend." Tonkad replied, "Was an easy mend. Next time you bring it in for repairs, make it a bit more of a challenge." Both men laughed, and as one, noticed Nexitum standing there watching them.

Both big men shout a greeting to Nexitum and move to shake his hand at the same time, Jura grabbing Nexitum's left hand and Tonkad taking his right. Both delivered a crushing handshake. When they released him, Nexitum looked down at his hands. His left hand red and sore, and his right hand as black as his outfit, Tonkad clearly not having washed or wiped his hand clean of soot before the greeting. "Ha!" Tonkad laughed at the sight, "Need me to shake the other hand to even them up?"

"No thanks," Nexitum said, hands still throbbing.

"So young man, what brings you down to my workshop?" Tonkad asks.

Nexitum explains that he had killed a few strange creatures in the wilderness while on holidays, and gathered a few items from each of them. He had thought they would make fine enhancements to some of the weapons that Tonkad created. He unpacked two dark bows, two wyrm scalps, an abyssal whip, and some wyrm spikes and laid them on the workbench.

The master smith looked at the gear and wyrm parts, and then looked at Nexitum, "You want Strykebows and a lava whip made?"

Nexitum was dumbfounded as he had never even heard of these two weapons before he had just thought the Master smith could work his skill and create something new. "Yes please, Tonkad!" Nexitum said excitedly, his mind racing as to how these new bows and whip would work. If Tonkad could assemble the weapons straight away, the bows would be used by himself and Ecentrah for a competition that he had planned for later in the day. The lava whip was for Spelsa, the cheeky apprentice of Merlin. It would make a fine weapon for the aspiring mage if she ever ran out of spells and needed to defend herself, or if she just wanted to smack someone in battle.

Tonkad starts work on the weapons straightaway while Nexitum and Jura swap tales of recent events and discuss an archery competition. They wander through Tonkad's storage room looking for suitable arrows for the new bows being made and find two quivers of arrows that will do the job very well. By the time they leave the storeroom, Tonkad has finished the strykebows and is testing the pull on them. Nexitum thanks the master smith for his work, grabs the two bows and the lava whip, and leaves the two older men to continue chatting with each other.

On his way through the castle to Ecentrah's room he spots Spelsa juggling with Manny the Jester; Manny using his normal 6 clubs while Spelsa tossed balls of magical energy. Nexitum waits for Spelsa to notice him, and then hands her the lava whip, Spelsa's eyes bulge as she takes hold of the newly created whip. Letting the tail fall to the ground, she hugs him and kisses him on the cheek while excitedly thanking him many, many times. Spelsa then takes a step back, a wide grin spreading across her face, as she pulls back her arm for a test of the whip. A mighty crack echo's through the castle, and she giggles with delight at the gift.

She turns quickly and runs off in the direction of Merlin's room, shouting, "Thank you!" again as she disappears.

Spelsa was standing of to the side with Merlin and the King when Nexitum got ready to take his shot, she felt the hairs on the back of her head standing on end. Merlin, feeling the same, turned and pushed Spelsa to the side just as a fireball ripped through the space between them. From a now widening rift that was forming, out steps Morgan Le Faye, a swirl of magical energy surrounding her body. Other rifts appear throughout the keeps grounds, and soldiers burst forth from them. All around King Kid Arthur's subjects arm themselves with weapons scattered around the grounds in wheelbarrows and carts, not taking the time to wonder at all why they happened to be there.

Merlin engaged Morgan Le Faye in a magical battle, with Spelsa throwing her own spells until a soldier of Le Faye's faced her and swung his sword in her direction. Without thinking, she reached for the Lava whip Nexitum had giver her and lashed out at the soldier with the vicious weapon scoring a hit that made the soldier think that this little girl wasn't to be trifled with. The soldier turned and ran away looking for a easier foe to fight. Spelsa gave chase, casting spell after spell at him until he ran straight into a Suqah that was busy dispatching some of Le Faye's soldiers. The poor man was then swatted so hard that he was buried up to his chest in the ground he was just standing on.

While Merlin and Morgan Le Faye were trading deadly spells, King Kid Arthur was fighting four enemy soldiers. Queen Lorry was behind him firing her bow rapidly picking off the men as they jumped through the magical rifts. Nexitum and Ecentrah were in fine form standing back to back firing their new strykebows with deadly precision. Arrow after arrow flew from their bows as a heavily loaded Suqah dropped extra quivers of arrows near the two rival guards.

The Suqah, taking note of Moragn Le Faye close by an open rift, ran at her and jumped, delivering a kick to her stomach so forcefully that it sent her flying back through the rift. Seeing this, Merlin took this perfect time to close that particular rift. That done, he looked at the Suqah and smiled. He then set to work closing the rest of the rifts.

King Kid Arthur's swords moved through the air like a whirlwind of steel, rapid and deadly. During all this movement, his trademark straw hat, or boater as he called it, fell off his head and was caught up in what looked like King Kid Arthur's personal tornado. Up it flew out of reach, but he took no notice of it.

All around him there were sounds of metal on metal as all the enemy soldiers were dispatched with efficient sword, arrow and spell strikes. A squad of the mighty Suqah were fighting the enemy without weapons or armour and doing very well using beefy fists and massive feet to defeat the enemy.

Unbreakable leaned against his ale cart and watched the show until a soldier came too close. He reached out and bashed the soldier over the head with the tankard he was drinking from, denting it beyond future use. Unbreakable muttered under his breath, "That was my best tankard you bastard," as he kicked the soldier with the caved in skull away from his cart.

Jura Mist and Tonkad were fighting near each other both swinging great weapons with practiced skill allowing no enemy soldier to gain ground near them. When the two fierce warriors had cleared the area of foe, they began to move on the other solders in the area that were fighting with some of the lesser skilled castle occupants.

Psycotropy and Fierysfury were fighting and moving towards Spelsa, their daughter, who was surrounded by the enemy. They could hear her whip cracking and hissing at any foe that got within reach of her. As her parents approached, they noticed Ryou, the Fremminick warrior, and Merlin's son, by Spelsa's side protecting her. He fought like a man possessed, with the enemy men falling at every swing of Ryou's twin daggers.

Ecentrah and Nexitum both ran out of arrows at the same time they ran out of foes. They collapsed to the ground, exhausted but appreciative of each other's skills. Ecentrah whispered in Nexitum's ear, "28." He laughed and didn't bother to mention his kill count was 31. He would let her have the victory on this day.

There were no more enemy left to fight this day, and so the Suqah began the task of dragging away the dead. Luckily, none of King Kid Arthur's people were lost in this battle, but there were plenty of sore arms, cuts, and bruises to be attended to.

King Kid Arthur's personal tornado diminished and his prized straw hat landed gracefully on its edge and rolled towards him. He scooped it up and replaced it firmly on his head. Tonkad and Jura were standing nearby, both men leaning heavily on each other, as they were exhausted from the intense action. King Kid Arthur walked over to the men and addressed Tonkad asking, "How did you know to bring out the weapons, Master Smith?"

Tonkad shrugged and replied, "Had a hunch", and left it at that.

The Suqah had cleaned up the grounds very quickly, and any living soldiers of Le Faye's were rounded up and herded towards the castle's dungeon.

There were just five of them remaining alive, and the enemy dead numbered 75.

Nexitum sighed and thought, "That was just the thing to sort out this lots' morale. i couldn't be more proud today." He was roused from his musings by Unbreakable yelling out, "New barrels opened!" At the end of this day, even the Suqah had a hearty drink. After all, they deserved it too!

With all the recent events at the castle, a mission to Neitiznot had slipped King Kid Arthur's mind. He knew he needed to address this right away, but who to send? Because of the recent invasion attempt, he was unwilling to leave the castle himself. While he was pondering this dilemma, Odin wandered in with Ayt and Julij. Struck by inspiration, King Kid Arthur said, "Just the people i needed to see! I have a job for you and any you choose to take with you." The three of them froze and silently waited for the King's orders. The King explained that he needed them to travel to Neitiznot and gave them the details of the tasks they would need to complete when they reached the island. "Who would you like to take with you, Odin?"
Odin stated that he would bring five of the Suqah, Julij and Ayt's dog, Caesar.

"You shall set off in the morning," King Kid Arthur said, "because tonight we will have a feast!"
The King knew that I had heaps of leftover food from the earlier competition, and it needed to be eaten before it fell to waste. Tables were setup in the banquet hall laden with large quantities of delicious food and additional tables loaded with tankards and barrels of tasty ale. The feast was noisy and messy but everyone had a wonderful time. They celebrated until none left the table without a full belly and a potential hangover. Long after I and my helpers had cleaned up the food, Unbreakable's Ale table had been moved closer to the fire. Chairs were filled, as many stayed to exchange tales of past adventures by the soft glow of the firelight.
