There is was, the King Black Dragon in all it's glory, it's fangs looked like daggers ready to plunge into human flesh, it's black outer layer of coating dragon hide shimmering slightly.
Leto gulped, "This is it?" she said nervously. It was indeed nerve wracking...knowing that you could never see the light again if you fought this creature. The bones of the dead piled up, footsteps leading into the dragon's domain...but none leading out.
Ezril slowly moved, cautious of his surroundings, "Kai, go to the right," he said softly, trying not to wake the dragon. Kai nodded and tiptoed over, until the dragon slightly grunted.
The grunt echoed through the cave, none of the three even made a sound when they heard it. At last, the dragon went back to it's snoring.
Ezril let out a sigh of relief, "Leto, go to the top of the cliff and shoot from up there," he instructed. Leto nodded and quickly jolted up the cliff, drawing her bow back, her hand on the quiver.
~Prepare to die...~ thought Kai, ready to slice through the dragon. There was a silence, and all hell broke loose.
The King Black Dragon's eyes lit up, they were yellow and bloodshot. He let out a roar as he darted his head across the terrain, studying his new meals.
Leto quickly let go of her bow, however, the arrows bounced off of the thick dragon hide.
Kai let out a battle cry and lunged his sword out crazily, swinging madly. The King Black Dragon shot out a ball of fire, scorching Kai's right arm leaving Kai on the ground.
Ezril drew his Magic Bow and shot two rune arrows, only one of them hit the King Black Dragon.
"D--n it..." he muttered to himself, "Die already!" He drew two daggers and leaped up, sticking them deep into the dragon's neck. The dragon let out a roar and threw Ezril to the wall, cornering him.

Ezril felt the back of the wall touch his spine, it was a cold feeling as he gulped. He made a small smile and put his sword into the wall, making it slightly collapse.
The King Black Dragon looked up and snarled, backing away, into a bed a spikes. The dragon's footing suddenly went off, and it fell into the spikes. Ezril let out a sigh, "At least that's done..."
The dragon, however, wasn't going to die that easily. It managed to spread it's wings and fly before it hit the spikes. It landed to the ground with glaring eyes, ready to kill Ezril.
Ezril let out another sigh, "D--n..." He shot two runite arrows, but both of them snapped in half. The dragon charged with immense speed, it's wings spread, at Ezril.
Leto shot two light arrows through the dragon's hide, piercing it slightly. It let out a roar and changed it's direction of attack towards Leto.
Leto smiled and jumped off the small cliff she was on and landed on both feet, throwing a knife at the dragon overhead. The dragon let out a scream and fell to the ground weakly, "That should help, it's poisioned."
However, just because the King Black Dragon was poisioned, didn't mean it would be an easy kill. After all, it was the strongest dragon of them all.
Kai stepped forward and swung his halebird wildly, cutting the dragon's face slightly. It let out a roar and scurried into a corner, "Heh, this maybe easier than I thought..."
Three others Black Dragons stepped forward as the King sleeked away sneakily. Ezril and Leto drew their weapons, "Leto, you go for the middle one, Kai, you go for the right," he said, lunging out.
The other two nodded, "Heh, these guys can't be that hard," thought Kai, blocking a blast of fire. The other dragon, however, slid behind Kai, sending his claw at Kai's arm viciously.
