Kai felt the sword go through his gut and spat out blood. Adrenaline rushed from his head as he started to get up, forgetting the fact that the sword was in his stomach. He took his sword and sliced at the warrior holding the sword.
The warrior took out the sword and felt a cut across his chest. He looked down and saw a droplet of blood fall to the ground. The warrior charged with anger in his eyes and Kai smiled, "Come at me, I doubt you'll win..." He crouched down and ran as quick as he could up to the warrior. He shot his sword upwards, going right through the man's head.
Kai smiled as the man fell to the ground with a twisted face of horror. He turned over to the mage who slowly backed off. "Fire Wave!" shouted the mage scurrying away as he said it. Kai slashed through the spell and continued charging at the mage.
The mage ran, his black cloak getting in the way of his vision. He looked back but saw no one there. The mage turned around and saw Kai in front of him, "Got you." Kai stuck his sword into the mage, and the spell caster let out a scream. He fell to the ground and twitched, until he finally stopped moving. Kai smiled, "That was close." he said, spotting a huge brute over the hill.
"Oh god." he said taking his sword out again. This brute had a huge axe, greater than anything he had ever seen before. Kai lunged out to attack the brute, but the huge colosall creature easily punched him out of the way. Kai rubbed his cheek where he was hit and parried the axe with his sword, moving the ground as he parried.
The brute had a full helmet on, and breathed ominously. He pulled from his brasset a dagger and stabbed at Kai. Kai jumped back as the axe plummeted to the ground. "This doesn't look good." he said to himself, "Not good at all..." The brute slowly inched closer, breathing louder now.
