Tilus moaned a bit, and opened her eyes. She got herself out of the mud, and saw a siege tower, burnt to a black crisp. "What happened?" she thought to herself, rubbing her head. Then she saw Keril, slumped underneath the siege tower. Her eyes widened as she ran towards the tower.
The siege tower was heavy, but Tilus didn't care. She used all her might to bring Keril's unmoving, pale body. She looked at him, and finally noticed that he wasn't in this world anymore. Her eyes grew teary, but she smiled at first, "T...this is just another joke? R...right?" she said with a studder.
She hoped that Keril would wake up and say, "Just a joke!" like all the times he said before. "Please wake up Keril!" she said with anguish. Her tears dripped down her cheaks and her chin and splashed on Keril's face. She put her face down onto Keril's. "You can't leave me!" she screamed, sobbing as hard as she could.
She didn't care about her surrondings, but eventually, Willo and the elves closed in on a circle around Keril and Tilus. "The first day I saw you at Castle Wars, I know that you were a good guy, and we even had some good times, but, why did you have to leave this world like this?!" her eyes tightened and her arms shook.
The elves walked slowly towards Tilius, tears in some of their eyes too. "It's not everyday a pair like this leaves the world" murmmured one of the elves. Willo had a sorry look on his face. "He died trying to save you, that means he cared about you much more than anyone else in his life"
An elf took his cloak off and put it on Tilus shoulders. She was still crying, trying to wipe her tears clean. "We will be in Tirawwn, planning, you can come back when you're ready" said Willo. He tried to hide his tears, but it just made him even more greiving.
Tilus squatted on her two knees. She slowly touched Keril's cheak and whipsered, "I love you..." She put the cloak over Keril, and walked back, tears dripping down.
