Happy B-Day!
This is the story I am writing for my sister's B-Day, hope you like it.
Emilia was walking on her way home in the middle of the night. No one was on the roads, not even the highway. The lights were flickering on and off on the lamp posts. "It's ok" she thought to herself "You're almost home, it'll be ok" Suddenly, a slithery voice came from the air. "Suprise suprise, it's waiting for you..." Emilia was starting to shake. "Who are you?" she screamed. "Come on, why don't you turn out the lights? I hope you have a good wish..."
Emilia was extremely frightened now. She started running as fast as she could home. "Yes, run, run like the wind! It doesn't matter, your fate is inevitable!" echoed the voice. She finally made it home, locked the doors and turned on all the lights. She had checked the whole house to make sure no one was in there, at least except for the basement. "Come down...Emilia, I have a surprise for you" she gulped.
She started to sweat, and her knees were shaking. She could feel her heart beat getting faster and faster. "You're almost there..." said the voice. When she got to the last stair, the voice screamed at the top of it's lungs, "Here she is! Now!" Emilia screamed for a second, when she opened her eyes she saw a huge birthday cake, and all of her brother's characters standing next to her. "Surprise!" they all said! "Blow out your candles and make a wish!" Emilia was relieved.
"You guys really gave me a scare! Never do that again!" she said. Her brother stared at her a bit angrily. "Well, I gave up a whole hour to figure out how I should write this story! Do you want me to just erase it from the forums!?" Emilia quickly said "Nope, this is a good enough birthday gift, and thank you"
