Isaac looks at Julie and walks over to her. He began stomping down on her as she was on the ground. Julie was helpless, unable to fight back. Deus looks over and his strength returned. He got up to his feet, turned Isaac around, picked him up, and threw him several feet away. Isaac landed flat on his feet. His painful expression quickly changed as he got back to his feet.

Julie got to her knees and began shooting arrow after arrow at Isaac. Isaac dodged them all as he ran back over to the two. Deus charged at Isaac and grabbed him. He turned him around, facing Julie and restrained him from moving. "Shoot him! Now!" he shouted. Julie had mixed feelings about shooting a boy. But she knew she had to.

She pulled an arrow back on her bow's string. "Forgive me.." she mumbled as she launched the arrow. When the arrow was launched, the arrowhead began to glow snow white. The arrow pierced under Isaac's rib cage. He fell to the floor, but he didn't crying in pain nor did he bleed. Deus looks at Isaac, he didn't look like he was dying.

Isaac looks down at the arrow, he was weak but he wasn't dying or feeling the pain of death. He was unable to move, he had been greatly weakened. Now that the battle was over, Deus fell to his knees in a great amount of pain. Julie held the area where Zechariah bit her as she rushed over.

Velator battled Alberto, brother of Lord Angelo. Velator remained calm as he charged at Alberto, who had an evil smirk on his face. Velator thrusts his spear at Alberto, who easily dodged the attack. Alberto swung his sword to the left at Velator. Velator held his spear vertically and blocked the attack. Velator jumped away and quickly pulled out his bow and arrow.

He began shooting arrow after arrow. Alberto was unable to dodge some, but the majority of them he did. Alberto swung his sword at Velator, who dodged with ease. Velator quickly pulled out his spear and readied himself. Alberto charged at him and swung his sword several times. Velator blocked each attack and kicked Alberto to the ground.

He tried to impale him but Alberto got up too quickly. Alberto grabbed Velator by the throat and threw him to the wall. Alberto cut Velator's left leg. The wound was pretty deep but Velator kept going like the wound didn't affect him too much. Alberto jumped back and waited for Velator. Velator sighed and walked a little back.

Velator pointed the tip of the spear towards Alberto's way and began to charge at him. Alberto jumps above Velator right when he was close to him. Velator smirked. He quickly grabbed his Dragon Dagger and threw it at Alberto's back. The dagger impales Alberto's upper back. Velator quickly turned around, facing Alberto.

He kept the tip of his spear pointing out and he charged at Alberto. Alberto is impaled - Velator's spear goes all the way through to the other side of Alberto; from his lower back all the way out his gut. Blood pours out Alberto's mouth but then he smirks and laughs. Velator pulls both his dagger and spear out of Alberto and jumped back. Alberto turns around and faces Velator.

He closes his eyes and re-opens them. His eyes glowed crimson red. Alberto disappeared and re-appeared behind Velator. He turns around and gets a punch in the face. Alberto punches Velator in the gut 50 times within a blink of an eye. He punches Velator's left arm and breaks it. Alberto kicks Velator away afterwards. Alberto stood there with a sadistic look on his face.

Velator got to his feet rather quickly despite getting greatly beat up. Alberto couldn't wait for Velator anymore so he charged at him. Velator swung his spear and cuts off part of Alberto's left arm. Alberto swung his sword at Velator. Velator jumps back and cuts off part of that arm. Alberto growled in pain but he continued to fight with his legs. However, their both cut off when he did made those kicks. Alberto began crying in pain as his eyes stopped glowing.

"It seems like it is over for you, Alberto." Velator said.

"Wwwhhhyyy!?!? This cannot be!! I am the great General Alberto Lysimachus!! I cannot be defeated by this worm!!" he screamed.

Roy hid behind a building on the east side, the small area with the fountain. Roy sighed and looked to his other side. "Hi there." Alrous greeted. Roy jumped back and pointed his sword towards him. Roy swung his sword to the left but Alrous disappeared. Roy began to pant as he lets down his guard. When he walks forward a few steps, he is grabbed from the back in a chokehold.

"Oh, you fool. Those White Knights didn't teach you very well, did they?" Roy disappears after Alrous said those words. Alrous smirked. "You can't run forever." His words echoed in the unusually darkened afternoon, the sun was clouded by a cape of clouds. Roy sighed and went out into the open. He shuffles his head left and right.

At the corner of his eye, he sees Alrous leaning against a wall of a building. He looks over and Alrous wasn't there. Roy keeps walking until a sword is suddenly stabbed in his back. Roy grit his teeth as he looked behind him. But there was no sword stabbed into his back nor a wound - just the pain of such.

Within a moment, the ground around Roy began to shake, as if a earthquake was happening. But it didn't appear that way. When Roy shakes his head, the ground stops shaking. Alrous suddenly appears in-front of Roy. "Oh Roy. You are so easy to trick." Alrous said. Roy charges at Alrous and slashes his sword at him. Roy's sword cuts through him but then Alrous smirks.

Alrous disappears like an illusion. "Roy! Behind you!!" Guthix shouted to Roy. Roy turns around and Alrous was there, a glass of red wine in his left hand. "Whatever did she see in you?"

"Enough of your tricks Alrous! Fight me!" Roy replied.

Alrous shrugs his shoulders. "Don't tell me." Alrous pointed behind Roy. "Tell him."

Roy looks behind him and another Alrous impales Roy's back with a small dagger. The illusion Alrous giggled. "Now that's what I call a back-stabber." The fake Alrous disappeared. Roy grit his teeth. Alrous smirked. Roy elbows Alrous in the face and turns around to face him. Alrous transforms his small dagger in his old Godsword that he used during his battle with Dante.

Roy swung his sword at Alrous, who blocked easily. Alrous swung his sword and Roy blocked until Alrous threw a spell at Roy. The spell blew Roy off his feet and onto the ground. Alrous quickly stabbed Roy in the gut while he was on the ground. Roy's eyes widened. Alrous smirks. "Looks like I win, eh Roy Elamlife?" Alrous said.

Images of a young man with jet black hair filled Roy's head. "Never give up. Fight for the things you believe in Roy." the man said. Roy's eyes quickly glowed Aquamarine as a burst of energy blasted Alrous away. Alrous grinned. Roy levitated to his feet. "That's more like it." Roy said. Alrous giggled. Roy swung his sword at the air and a wave of energy shoots out of Roy's sword and charges at Alrous.

Alrous blocked with his arms. He charged at Roy and Roy charged at Alrous. The two clash swords and a burst of energy destroys several building back to it's foundation. Alrous back slaps Roy in the face. While Roy was stunned, Alrous slashed his sword at him. Roy blocked at the last minute. Alrous grabbed Roy's left arm and threw him at the wall that surrounds Falador.

Roy slams at it back first. He falls to the ground on his knees. Roy left several cracks on the wall when he hit it. Roy immediately charged back at Alrous. Roy slammed his sword at Alrous. Alrous jumps back and Roy's sword hits the ground, sending a shock wave through the ground. Alrous tried to slash Roy with his sword but Roy swung his sword at Alrous' sword and Alrous' sword flies out of his hand.

Right after Roy did that, he slashes his sword across Alrous' body. Alrous growled in pain as he fell to his knees. Blood flies. Roy jumped back and began to pant heavily. Alrous quickly stood to his feet and began to laugh like a madman. Roy raised an eyebrow. "Have you gone mad?" Roy asked. Alrous walks over to Roy.

Suddenly, Alrous is frozen in place. His eyes widened as he looked over to the left. Cassius was there with his hand raised.

Roy looked at Cassius."Took ya long enough." Roy said.

"Sorry. I just had to take a nice walk here." Cassius replied.

"And what if in that time I was about to get killed?"

Cassius puts his hands in his trench coat's pockets. "All that really matters is you didn't."

Alrous began to growl in more pain. His eyes tightly closed and his hands closed up. "What...do..you..think you're doing!?!" he growled. Roy and Cassius looked at Alrous in confusion. A struggle within the body began to take place. Alrous yelled as somebody else took control.

Alrous' eyes changed to a different color. "R-Roy..!...Quickly...use the Sword of the Shining Rays...and purify us...!" The different voice demanded. "I...can't...hold him off...for very long..."

Cassius quickly knew who it was. "Angelo..." he mumbled.

Roy nods his head. "Alright." The Sword of the Shining Rays began to glow sky blue. He points the sword towards the two. "Oh purifying blade of light. Purge the darkness within this soul...purge the negative ones in this soul..." A beam of light shined on Alrous. He began to scream.

"Cassius..destroy us both!" Angelo's voice shouted to him.

Cassius' grip tightened on his sword. "Fine.." Cassius ran over near Roy and charged at Alrous. Cassius impaled the two. Alrous began to scream even further. But after ten seconds, his voice began to fade. The beam from Roy's sword disappears along with Alrous. Cassius pulled out his sword, Angelo fell to the ground, and Cassius knelled next to him.

When Angelo looked up at Cassius, his eyes weren't crimson red anymore - they were sapphire blue. "Cassius.." Angelo mumbled. "I am truly sorry for...everything I have done...to you, and your comrades..."

"It's not your fault. You have no part in what that Angelo caused." Cassius replied.

"..But I do...I created it..."

"You didn't, your sadness and anger did." Cassius sighed. "You were so depressed that you had to kill the one you loved that you lost control of your emotions. Which changed you into a true demon."

"Maybe you are right...but I still am unable to forgive myself..I am too weak.."

“The weak can never forgive. Forgiveness is the attribute of the strong. You are strong Angelo, so I know you can forgive yourself."

"Do you forgive me..?" Cassius nods his head. Angelo closes his eyes and smiles. "At least I can rest..knowing that the one I hurt the most has shown forgiveness.." Angelo's smile goes down and he stops breathing.

Cassius stood to his feet. Cassius places his hands in his trench coat's pocket. He looks up at the sky, took a deep breath, and lets out a sigh. "Goodbye, father." Cassius said in his head.

Roy ran over to Cassius. "Sorry Cassius." he said.

"Hmm? About what?"

"It's fine."

"By the way." Roy raised an eyebrow. "Since when you use a saying from Deus?"

Cassius shrugged. "C'mon. We need to hurry back to Dante."

"Right."

After that, they ran back to the room Dante was in. They got to the third floor via the shattered window. They rushed to the room. When they got to the door, Cassius opened it - revealing Kyrie laying on the ground breathless. Cassius' eyes widened as he hasted over to her. Dante looked over at Cassius with saddened eyes.

"Sorry Cassius..I was unable to..protect her..." Dante mumbled.

"What happened!?" Cassius shouted.

"A Bielzen vampyre just stood back to his feet and attacked her..."

"..and bit her?!"

Dante shook his head up and down. "Yes.."

Roy knelled. "Maybe I can help." Roy closed his eyes and placed his left hand on Kyrie's bite wound. The wound on her neck began to disappear however the wound began to open on Roy's neck.

Dante looked at Roy and realized what he was about to do. He got up and ran over. "Roy!! Don't!!" Roy smiled as the wound on Kyrie's neck completely disappeared. However, the wound appeared on Roy's neck instead. Roy fell to the ground and Kyrie opened her eyes.

Cassius looks at Roy with widened eyes. "He..sarcrificed himself..!?" In Roy's head. He began to have a vision. He was in a crowd of people that had no face. Everything around Roy was black and white, he was the only thing in color. After walking several yards, he sees another him with Aquamarine eyes, which means it was Guthix.

"Guthix?" Roy asked. "Where are we?"

"Roy, you fool. Do you realize what you have just done?"

"Yeah, I know. Why?"

"You basically just killed BOTH of us."

"Huh?"

"You have to be alive in order for me to come alive."

"So you're saying..I..."

"You have just forsaken the world. For what? One miserable life? Of an enemy?"

"..I.."

"Roy, you failed. You failed at your role in life. You're nothing more but a FAILURE!!!" After that, the world around Roy shattered like glass. He began to fall into a endless black abyss. He tried reaching his hand out but was unable to.

"Maybe..I am a failure..." Roy mumbled to himself. Memories of each major event in Roy's life play fast forward in his head. "Who am I kidding..I failed at everything I've done...protecting Anna, saving the world...I'm nothing but a failure...I'm better off dead..."

"No.." a voice that sounded so familiar said. From the pitch-black came someone Roy knew so well, Anna.

Roy's eyes widened when he saw her. "A-Anna!?!"

"You didn't fail Roy. You are strong and brave. You protected me, didn't you? You saved the world from Alrous, right? So, you didn't fail at all."

"I didn't protect you..I let you die..."

Anna puts her left hand on Roy's face. "Roy. Don't let me drag you down. I may have died but I'll always be with you."

"But..I was unable to protect you...you died because-"

"That's not true. Remember what Deus told us that night he and Julie found us?"

The moment plays in Roy's head. "There is no failure except in no longer trying." Roy mumbled.

"And you did very well. You protected me with your life everyday of my life. And I'm truly grateful for what you've done for me."

"But..how am I going to go on..without you?"

Anna smiled. "I'm always beside you, where ever you are, silly."

Roy smiled. "You always knew how to make me smile."

Anna got closer to Roy and kissed him on the lips. After 20 seconds, they stop and look at each other. "Always remember Roy. I'll always love you, even in death."

"Yeah. I'll love you always as well.."

Everything around Roy disappears. Roy opens his eyes and looks around. He was in his room with a man with jet-black hair looking at him. He smiled when he saw Roy awake. The man's eyes were green and he looked much older than Roy. Roy looked at the man and knew who it was.

"Guthix!?" Roy shouted.

"I'm amazed that you're alive Roy." he replied.

"But..my vision..."

"That was Alrous' last trick he was trying to pull on you."

"So, how I am alive?"

Guthix shrugged his shoulders. "I don't know. Ask yourself that."

Roy got off his bed and walked over to the window. He looks up at the sky. "Anna..."

"Oh, by the way." Guthix walks over to Roy and gives him a letter. "Some man wearing a hooded robe stopped by and gave us this. He said it was for you."

Roy takes the note, opens it, and scrolls his eyes across it's words. It said:

"Dear Roy,

Please be aware that I'm still here. I've been watching you for a while and you probably know of my existence. I've shared my wisdom with you, and I'm extremely proud of what you've achieved. You are a shining example of what the world calls a 'hero'. Please always remember that you know you have people watching you and helping you guide yourself on the path to glory.

You've made me proud to call you my little brother.

Skylar. "

Roy's eyes widened after he finished. "Skylar.."

In Cassius' room. He looked out his window with thoughts in his head. His door suddenly opened and it was Dante. Cassius looks at Dante with a questionable expression.

"Dante?" Cassius said.

"We're alot more alike than you think Cassius."

"How so?"

"You're a prince of a fallen kingdom, so am I. You killed your father, so did I. You've lost yourself, I have as well. You've been possessed, so have I. You've been used by someone, so have I. You've killed a friend, so have I. People have forgiven your name, Cassius. And people have forgiven mine too."

"Hmph.."

"Still cold, I see." In the medic room, Deus was recovering from sucking the venom. The door to the medic room opened, it was Julie. Deus smiled upon her entrance.

"Hey." he greeted.

"Hello Deus." she replied. "How are you feeling?"

"Much better, thanks."

Julie smiled. "I'm the one who should be thanking you."

"?"

Julie walked closer to Deus. "Thanks. Thank you for all you've done for me." she kissed him on the cheek afterwards. Deus' entire face went red as he fainted. Julie looked at Deus, worried. "Sorry.."

Later in the day, every knight was in the room where all the knights would hang out. They were celebrating their victory. Roy stood to his feet and raised his glass.

"Everyone. I thank you for everything you've done. I'm eternally in your debt." Roy said. Roy was about to drink his wine until Velator took it out of his hand.

"Roy..you're under-aged.." Velator said.

Roy shuffled his eyes left and right. "Nuh uh!"

Cassius laughed at Roy as rubbed his drink in Roy's face. "Haha! I can drink and you can't."

"Nooo! I'm...21..."

"Try 20." Everyone in the room laughed. The night was filled with cheer and happiness.

The world's endless struggle with war finally ended. The darkness that consumed this land had finally disappeared with one final cheer. The voices of fate and destiny finally broke through the evil and sang a song of freedom and justice. And the enemies of the good receive judgment of the star of light. Alberto is said have been thrown in prison after the battle at Falador that night. It's said that Isaac still searches for the Staff of Armadyl after escaping authority's grasp. Kvetch remains at large.

But for now, The world is no longer The World in Flames. From this day forth, this world is the world of Rays that Shine.
